very nice punch set ! works well

Everyone is using ZepBound or Wecovy or some other dietary drug to lose weight these days. If you're one of those people, you already know you have to cinch up your belt way more than ever before! This is a good thing! But if you like your belt and you want to keep using it, you may need to punch a few new holes in it to make it usable and allow you to cinch your belt a bit tighter than it was originally meant to be cinched. These punches are very nice because they are not simply round -- they are oval. This is the correct shape of the hole required for a belt. The oval shape allows the belt's prong to pivot back and forth without misshaping the leather. Again, if you need to put additional holes in your belts, these are the punches you need!

Needed some punches to make a belt, and these did the trick despite some slightly-wonky ends. They punch straight through hard latigo with a light hammer tap, but a couple of them ave ends with angles on them that should not be. Expected for the price. They have good hole space to eject punched out leather bits as you do your work, and removing the one piece in the end is not hard at all. My use while making a belt did not incur any damage, so I imagine they'll hold up well as long as you're using a decent chasing hammer.

I really liked that these punches were a good length suitable for holding while hammering. Even better was the fact that there were a number of hole sizes that allowed me to match the style and size that I was seeking. Finally, I liked that that the punches have the top port to allow the removed leather to push up or be cleaned out. However, I found my set to be duller than expected, leading me to resort to using a claw hammer rather than my rubber mallet. That did the trick over a piece of SPF 2x material on my workbench. To clear the port of the leather chads, I used a paper clip to push down from the top after each hole was made to keep the punch from slipping around or the hole from clogging. In summary, I give the set 4* due to the variety of holes and the good price, knocking off one star for the punches being duller than expected.

This set is of punches are very good. As long as you keep them sharp like you should to any leather toll. This will work fine. Especially to start off your journey with leather the price is good.

i used it to punch a hole in a blind blade and it is not very sharp.

Als Ergänzung zu meiner Rundloch-Zange. Meine Gürtel haben irgendwie alle diese Langlöcher. Hat perfekt gepasst. Ich sehe keinen Unterschied zwischen Original-Löchern und meinen zusätzlichen (vorausgesetzt, man hat sauber gemessen, den richtigen Stanzer ausgewählt und diesen auch gerade gehalten). Ich habe das auf dem Gürtel angezeichnet, damit es perfekt in einer Linie mit den anderen Löchern ist.
