Great great product. You can't go wrong with this.
For anyone doing custom metal work or body work on a car, this stuff is amazing. An old-timer machinist told me about this, so I decided to give it a shot. I can't say enough about this. It dries almost instantly, lays out super thin, doesn't clog up sandpaper on my sanding blocks, and it's ridiculously easy to wipe off the bare metal panel with acetone or mineral spirits. Plus one can goes a looooong way. I like the dark blue color contrast against bare metal, as it makes it super easy to see when you're trying to level out a panel. The ink stays on the panel just like paint, but is so much easier to remove than a dust-coat of pain. Yes, the cans are expensive, but you get a lot for your money given how much area you can cover with very little spray. Just buy it, it's worth every penny, and you won't regret it.

Way better than the brush on variety.
Before buying this, I’ve always used the type you brush on. I’ll never go back to that. The spray is the way. It’s amazingly easy to lay down a nice uniform layer, and it lasts a lot longer than I expected. It dries just as fast as the brush on too.

Great value!
I work at a machine shop and I use blue layout all the time. My boss always buys the Dykem Blue layout spray for the shop and I usually would just use whatever he buys. But other workers never put those cans back in place and I always have a hard time finding them. So I decided to buy my own can. Dykem layout fluid will cost close to $30 while Seymour layout fluid cost almost 1/3 of what you would pay for Dykem. And it's doing an excellent job for what I need. Why would I spend almost triple what I spend to buy this? It doesn't make any sense. If you use blue layout a lot at work, I highly recommend you trying this out. If you end up not liking it, you're out a few bucks. But if you ended up liking it like I did, you'd be saving a lot of money going forward.

It works good
Easy to use shake ,hear the rattle and spray. Gives a very good coating and not too excessive. And the plus is not dropping the brush or container all over your shoes and floor.
