My skin barrier was severely damaged, really dry with red scaring like pigmentation from being so dry. I was about to go to the dermatologist because it looked so horrible, but figured I’d try a skin barrier repair cream myself before I spent hundreds of dollars at the dermatologist.My skin is very acne prone as well so I am very careful and selective about what I use on my face. I did some research and was torn between this product and a few other gel barrier creams that were higher end. I went with this for the price and because it was least expected to make me break out. I am SO glad I bought this. It’s only been just over a week and my skin looks so much better. The redness has subsided, it’s not dry at all, and the scaring like pigmentation is fading rapidly. It’s a much larger container than I expected so it will last me quite a while! It’s lightweight and easy to apply. It’d be a perfect summer moisturizer also because it doesn’t feel sticky or greasy. Truly impressed with this product. I would absolutely recommend it!

Also tried this on a whim it soothes the savage beast as my face beats red .goes on smooth and not greasy and face feels great and not spending alot .

I have oily skin yet also incredibly sensitive skin that gets a damaged skin barrier very easily. I was looking for something to repair my skin barrier that was a lightweight gel moisturizer. I absolutely love this stuff. It has a perfect light texture for me and soaks in well. It does have a very light subtle fragrance so if you're really sensitive to fragrances this probably isn't for you. It's also probably not for you if you have really dry skin because I don't think it would be hydrating enough...... however I will say that the overuse of some products had my skin really tight and dry and peeling and using this just 3 days in a row in the morning fixed that ( I use a different slightly heavier gel moisturizer at night). I can't stand the feeling of heavy lotions and creams on my skin especially my face. Once it soaks in I don't want to be able to feel it and this is perfect. It just leaves my skin feeling soft. As for actually healing my barrier.....I don't know because I also stopped using all other products except a cleanser. This is reasonably priced, and the only reason I took 1 star off is because I wish the jar was larger. I might even try something else from this brand.Edit: I realized this DOES come in a larger size. So I'm still taking one star off because I'll change it to say I wish it came in a larger size for the same price as this size.

I have extremely sensitive skin and most products burn my face even when they claim to be safe for people with rosacea. I honestly thought there was nothing left that I could use without pain. I did an AI search out of desperation and this gel appeared at the top of the list. I had never heard of it before but the price was reasonable so I decided to try it. I am so grateful I did. It has been a true game changer. My skin had become so dry that you could see the powdery texture on the surface, but when I applied this gel it felt like a soothing balm settling over a wound. It calmed the dryness and eased the tightness in a way I did not think was possible anymore. Some people mention a scent but there is barely one at all. I am extremely sensitive to fragrance. Even a hint in skincare or soap usually burns my skin, and all my household products are completely unscented. If I am saying this is gentle, I can almost promise you it is. This gel gave me comfort when nothing else could and I will keep using it. I am now going to try their eye products and their makeup and I am genuinely excited about it. Also, I have ordered this in the larger size as I plan to use this all winter long. It's a winner X5.

I’ve suffered with acne (not super bad) since I was a teenager. (Now 25). This moisturizer changed my skin entirely after one month of use. It is smooth and cooling on your skin. It definitely restored my barrier. Although my acne is not completely gone, it is SO much better. I just ordered two more bottles on prime big day deals.

This cream offers great moisture that isn't too heavy or greasy. I use it in the evenings.

It's okay, not very hydrating I would say more of a summer light moisturizer. But I like mine very very moisturizing cuz I have older dry skin. Lightweight doesn't leave residue
