Thule T2 Pro X

I put off buying a bike rack for years as I was concerned about the bikes bouncing all around, speed of mounting/dismounting, and bike thieft. This rack is wonderful! Very secure, it doesn't wobble at all, super fast to mount or dismount thr bikes, and with the lock, someone would need to either destroy the bike or spend some time hacking off the mount arm to access the bikes. It's not totally secure, like leaving it overnight. But I don't feel like anything will happen popping into the grocery store after a ride. Anyway, great bike rack at a good price!

I am very happy with this purchase. It is solid, well-built, and requires minimal assembly. It is a bit expensive, but the convenience factor makes it well worth it!

Jury is still out on how much security the locking system provides. It looks like it would be easy to thwart. I wouldn't trust it in a city. Crazy that locks are a separate purchase. Otherwise a good rack.

Easy to assemble and install on the car. Very easy to load and unload bikes, fits 3” fat tire bikes no problem. One of the wheel straps broke on the first use but Thule sent a replacement ASAP under warranty.

This bike rack is very sturdy and holds our bikes securely. One of our bikes is a heavier ebike and there is no issue with carrying the extra weight. We travel across the country a couple times a year and have no worries with the bikes on this rack.

Sturdy, secure, and convenient - a must have for bikers! I leave mine on the car all the time as it folds out of the way when not in use. Easy to install. Bikes are secure and I don’t have to worry about anything falling off the back. Worked wonderfully for a cross country road trip!

This thing is very heavy, and a pain to store, but I never worry when our bikes are on the car. It's going to outlive us, that's for sure. Ours has seen a bit of weather, and doesn't show any rust. I was a little nervous getting steel. It's super easy to get the bikes on and off. I do wish there was a way to adjust the distance from the car. It's not bad, but I would prefer a couple of inches closer. I know it's partly to allow hatch access.

In hitch screw design lock doesn’t work and rack and bikes can be stolen! Doesn’t have tire locks in front tire arm?? Purchase separately? Probably $2 locks but they can’t include them ? That’s being cheap for $650 spent! Save up your money go to bike shop spend the $1200-1500 on a real bike rack Dont trust this rack past 50-100 miles! Just not secure enough to the car! And rocks back and fourth like 8” ! Thule should be embarrassed to have their name on it ! Don’t ignore the negative reviews you will not be happy

All good, different between the X abd XTR is the wheels and lock straps. They shouldn't ship UPS WHAT A JOKE Ended coming by canada post but waited several days as it sat to transfer to the post office should it been here 3 days earlier.

Although the rack took quite some time to arrive, I am pleased with the performance and welding of the rack. My bike is 30 pounds and I can comfortably load and unload without any issues. I would like to add that the rack or bike hardly wobble. I did have to add a hitch extension as the rack folded up did not clear my bumper, but most racks with the curved plastic piece for the front tire would have the similar concern. Do not hesitate to purchase this rack.
