Good start
Very helpful, but not quite enough information to be stand-alone. You will learn enough, though, to know in what direction to look for additional help.

One of the top tree house books
There's a ton of information in this . I bought this and the nelson tree house book off of Amazon and both are great. I definitely recommend both of them before you start a tree house build . There is a ton of differences between tree house building and conventional building that I didn't think about before ordering these such as building so the tree house can move with the movement of the trees. This book is a small cost for what it will save you messing up your build and having to fix it later

Treehouse adventure
Good basic discussion for construction of a treehouse. Only missing link- any regulations that would impede this construction- from neighbors, etc.

Excellent resource for kids and adults.
Super clear way to understand the fundamentals and nuances of designing and building a treehouse. The illustrations and pictures are excellent for the kids and the detailed instructions and building recommendations are excellent for the adults in charge of the project.

This is good for a "tree fort" not house
A lot of the techniques that they show are not going to set you up for success if you want to make an adult treehouse. A lotnod the designs will end up killing your trees. It's good if you want to make a fort for your kids and has some really good designs in there for that.

Good ideas for planning.
Good for describing trees needed for proper stability and location. Fairly good ideas for future builds.
