I tasted 1 when it arrived & I'm reminded of a review that says this is hard candy. I think most people associate soft candy as chewable/biteable. This is more like "porous" so after a few seconds, it breaks into smaller pieces.

These candy's are so good I buy them around chirstmas time. Will buy again
