Does it come in green?

No, this plastic swing only black and blue now.

Is the seat firm or is it more like a sling that presses in against your hips?

The seat is firm and hard like wood, it will not bend around you r butt or foot. Also, the rope is made of thick corded nylon that lasts and lasts. it's very easy to adjust the length and just as easy to hang from a tree limb or swing set. It's a great seat and indestructible rope and I highly recommend it.

How do you adjust the length?

You can adjust the length by buckle

do you need anything else to hang from a tree?

Directely use it hang from a tree, all parts have been assembled, not need anything
