Easy to use, great quality...an all around good deal!
The player works perfectly and the digital quality is great for the price. (I have seen digital transfer equipment in the hundreds of dollars with fine-tuning and EQ features, but this can't be beat!) It's easier to use than I thought! It's literally just as easy as insert tape, press 'play' and hit 'record.' **Note - If your laptop does not have a CD-ROM input, you can download the software from a link included in the user manual.** Anyone with a basic knowledge of editing and conversion apps and programs can customize each recording once the USB drive / SD card has been plugged into a laptop or desktop system. (If you're new to the idea, a quick Google or YouTube search will easily guide you.) My only gripe was that when my product arrived, the box wasn't completely sealed. I checked the contents against the product description page and everything is accounted for, but it just should've been sealed shut. Otherwise, this was a great deal. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to preserve their cassette recordings and music.

Grascio cassette tape with fm radio player review
The Grascio cassette player fm radio is a very great way of playing tapes please make sure to rewind each time you want to play a tape this helps a loooot to keep tapes from breaking as much sound quality is pretty good this does not have. a bias control so standard tapes would be best a very good value for the $ thank you

Super price, super easy, super possibilities. ;)
Don't let this devices' small size fool you-it knows it's way around. Great sound, and no static-at all. Size is a great asset, a true pocket-pal..perfect in a pinch. She is sleek, sexy and offers so much! Radio, recorder, cassette player. She does need Batteries from time to time, when no outlet is available. Off the cuff fun, ya know..

It was good UNTIL IT WASN’T😡
It worked for about an hour then stopped! I am sorely disappointed in this purchase. I was able to record about 12 songs from cassette to my thumb drive. I was able to use audacity to clean up those recordings and save them. But after about the 12th song, it would no longer record. The light would stay on to indicate recording and my thumb drive would blink as if it was recording, but nothing was being recorded and the light would go out after about 45 seconds. I don’t know if I got a fluke defective cassette recorder or whether or not the whole product line is bad. But I’m very disappointed. Sadly, I started using this after the window to return it closed. And my cassettes were in good shape and my thumb drive was brand new. So my advice is to proceed with caution.

Took me a minute but works great!
I spent a bit of time fiddling around with all the ports trying to input audio into different sources with no success. Finally I found a video on YouTube that explained how to do it. Using the USB C charging port you can connect out with the supplied USB C to USB C cord and digitize with any device. I didn't realize I needed to use that port, as I thought it was strictly a charging port. You do need to install four C batteries since you no longer have a power supply but that is no thing but a chicken wing. I could easily record into my laptop using Audacity. I recorded into my iPhone and iPad using the built in Voice Memos app to capture the audio, and was able to handily export that into sound the sampling app I working with (Koala) and start chopping. I didn't fuss with the USB thumb drive option or SD Card, but it looks easy enough with the extra controls on top of the player. For me C to C was the quickest way to get to my project and it worked like a charm. Very excited to digitize several decades of personal cassette tapes thanks to this inexpensive and useful device. Glad I bought it.

Won't work for MAC, PC Only.
If you're on a Mac, you won't be able to transfer MP3 files. I borrowed a PC laptop with an SD slot and files show up with no issue. I learned the hard way and sent the first unit back thinking it was faulty. On a Mac the MP3 files are hidden; they are on the SD card, but there is no way to retrieve them. On a PC the MP3 files are visible and accessible like any normal file. Haven't had time to test the quality of the cassette to MP3 transfer, but sounds pretty much like the tapes. It's not the highest sampling rate, but good enough for the price. Good for archiving, I have 100's of tapes of radio recordings from the 90's-00's and voice recordings going back into the 80's. As I work at my desk I just set and forget by recording each side as one file. Stops recording when tape ends. The machine itself is simple to use, solid plastic, chunky buttons, no issues with eating tapes so far. FF and RW are fast, the speaker has a decent amount of volume, louder than you'd need at arms lenght. Powering + transfer through the provided Y-split USB-C cable works well. A bit weird that Data transfer and powering are separate, on other units I've seen it's just one cable. No biggie.

Great Cassette Player
The build and sound quality of this cassette player are impressive. I own a Teac cassette player as well, and this product matches that same high standard, though it comes at a slightly higher price.

Good purchase for a senior
This was purchased for a senior with sight problems. He was very happy with the purchase. Works well with both batteries and cord, has good volume and is easy to use. The buttons on top make it possible for him to use easily, and volume and tuning on either side are also easy for him to locate and use.
