I wanted to make a minibike from a twist throttle to a thumb throttle and this item work good just had to slightly modified it to work on the stock throttle. Will see how long it last.

This thing is SOLID. I love it so much, I used it on my motorized bicycle build. It fit the standard handlebars on my bike. The cable may be a bit long for my use but its a good length, and I feel like it will hold up for a long time. WAY better than that cheap twist throttle that motorized bike kits come with. It pulls way smoother and gives me nicer throttle control. 10/10. I recommend. I think its waterproof too, it has a gasket on it as well as a grommet for the cable to prevent water from getting into the assembly, so that's an added bonus.

The twist throttle that came with my Mega Moto 80 kit had no return spring and the little spring on the Predator 224 engine wasn't enough to push the cable back and return the grip to its off-throttle position. It's kind of a huge problem. This throttle has it's own return spring so when you let off the throttle, it actually goes back. The housing and all the pieces inside are made of metal as well, so it also feels much more solid than the original twist throttle as well.

Seems solid and like it will work..missing clamp screw and thumb lever looks like 2 peices cast together not square and smooth shaped like in pic ..would get you by
