Why does the gel have b vitamins, but not the powder? Renal cats are need of them just as much as potassium.

I have no idea why the powder does not contain vitamin B. But my cat really needed the potassium so the powder was my choice. I did try the gel but my cat not only did not like the taste and would not eat. But the powder disappears in with the wet food and my cat eats everything

Does anyone know the difference between this product and epakitin 60 g also for cats?

You didn’t mention the reason for this med compared to the Renal K+. I do KNOW that Renal K+ gave me over 2 more years of quality life for my little guy. If I had a question like that I would ask my vet. There are 7 or 8 in the practice so I can get second opinions easily. Fortunately I had so much faith in my vet. This I know because of over 22 years treating very ill kitties.

Is the powder version hydrolyzed?

Google says. Yes. It is amazing stuff. My cat had to take it for years. Just sprinkled it on her food and she ate it right up. I dont believe there is a taste to it. And it worked extremely well to keep her potassium levels normal.
