Stagg CLASSIC Chili No Beans, 15 Ounce (12-Pack)

Love this chili! I hate the texture of beans so no bean chili what I buy. This is by far the best one I have found. The flavor is robust and delicious. We use it at home and when camping. My family usually prefers one with beans but if I bring out my chili no one wants the other kind. Chili hot dogs, chili and corn bread, chili macaroni, chili over rice or potatoes all taste awesome if you use this chili.

When I want to cheat on my DNA based diet this really works well. It's hot but sweet. What shocked me is one of my cats really likes it too! I have to push her away as she's always trying to get into it. It's a rich thick chili without beans. It's a known fact that eating too much starch for some people is detrimental to their blood sugar & I'm fighting it using the guidance of a geneticist to do it. Great value for the money as the meat is meat. Switched brands after some research & realized this was a safer bet. My husband loves it as he loves chili & since I can't eat it but maybe once a month he can have it whenever he feels like it. Reminds me of my grandmother's New Mexico Chow Chow. Only negative was the case I bought was put together from a bunch of dented cans. Not sure what this was about I bought two cases but I sent the second one on to a friend. If the next batch comes dented I won't purchase again.

Stagg is seriously the best chili out there! It was my dad’s favorite growing up and as soon as I was out on my own I quickly learned it was my favorite too! And now that I have kids, it’s their favorite! Well…except for my picky eater. She liked the chili taste, but hated the beans so I would have to pick them out one by one. Somehow Stagg knew I was struggling and came out with a No Bean chili and my life has significantly improved! Except now it’s one of the only things she’ll eat lol. The chili always tastes fresh, even when I order online, so I make sure to stock up so I always have backup for my picky eater. And this 12 pack is just enough that I’m not stocked up too much that somehow she’ll end up hating it, because that’s just the way it works right moms?

Best chili. Ever.

It tastes okay when buried with mustard, cheese, and onions. It has less sugar and cornstarch than most others. But the cans are really starting to annoy me. Every shipment, of the last six, had at least one dented can. But this last batch... All 12 cans have serious dents AND dirt/corrosion on the lids. There is no way these are safe to keep as emergency "food" -- which is really the only reason to buy or keep this slop.
