Great read and very educational
This book was recommended by a friend and I was skeptical at first but took a chance. This book was very informative and honestly it should be read by teenagers, so they to can learn what can happen if they are naive. Laci has everything girl can dream of with the exception of friends, she meets this group of girls from the 'hood' whose jealous of her as soon as they see her and unbeknownst to her they plot to bring her down. Will Laci take the fall and if so can and will she survive it?

A pleasant ending!!
To me, this was a very unique story. Growing up in the boros of Brooklynand Queens during this crack era I could relate to alot of the scenariospresented in this book. What I liked most was the diversity of the story, telling a story from a customer viewpoint and a dealer. Both of thesecharacters looked passed their differences and drew strength from theirsimilarities and created a really good hood love story! I am lookingforward to reading Crackhead II.

Four Stars
It was an OK book. Another urban drama fiction. The ending wasn't believeable though

Read It In 1 Day!!!
I read this book in one day, actually in a matter of hours it was a pretty good book for a debut novel although I expected more out of the story and not only that this book had so many typos it was rediculous and it made reading this book quite difficult. All the characters were unique and I believe every one got what they deserved in the end!!

A must Read!!!
I loved reading this book, it had me on the edge in every page. I have a sister battling addiction, this book makes me understand why she so hooked on it. I loved the characters of Dink, Smurf and Laci.

Jealousy
This was definitely a good book. It amazes me how jealous people can be of one another. Laci basically had it all but she still wanted to fit in with her peers, and although they took her in, only because they knew she had money, they were planning deceit from the beginning. Like the saying goes "Misery loves company". I dont wanna give away the book but its definitely a must reader.

Good Lesson Learned
This book was a good read, even though there were a few grammar errors. Laci was so naive and believed her friends were really her friends. To bad she had to find out the hard way. This book had a very good lesson in it that will make the reader think.
