It is recommended that a can only stay in the fridge for 5 - 7 days before needing to be thrown away.

All Instinct pet food cans are BPA free."

You're not supposed to feed this to a dog who will grow to over 75 pounds.

My experience with this food was good until it was very, very bad. I opened a can of my dog's regular Instinct food, scooped half of it out for her, and found two pills, which had no markings at all on them, cut or broken in half, so that's four chances for your dog to eat street drugs. All legal medications are marked with numbers and/or letters. Obviously, street drugs aren't. Just be careful of what's in the can before you feed it to your pets.
