Coaching Tools, Volumes 1 and 2 offer a rich source of applied tools and techniques that have hitherto not existed and could never have been achieved without the valuable contributions and support of the 90+ coaches who helped create these books. Contained within these 2 volumes are over 200 tried-and-tested โfavouriteโ coaching tools. The tools are varied, reflecting the range of contributors, and drawing disparately from Behavioural, Cognitive Behavioural, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion, Positive Psychology, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Solution-focused, Mindfulness, and Neuroscience frameworks amongst others. The contributors include Marshall Goldsmith, Richard Boyatzis, Tammy Turner, Peter Hawkins, Suzy Green, Christian van Nieuwerburgh, Jonathan Passmore, and many more. Fully illustrated in colour, each tool is presented in a simple to use step-by-step guide, making this an essential contribution to every coachโs and leaderโs personal library. Molto utile

Recipe style coaching book that belongs on a coffee table and not on a shelf!
I have Volume 1 and appreciate the ease of dipping in and out of it that the 'recipe' style lends it to. It really should be on my coffee table and not on a shelf (although I need to source a coffee table in my study first!!) Lots of useful tools and easily accessible. It's a little on the expensive side but that's because the editors insisted on colour photos to accompany the 'recipies', which I have to say are rather nice. With thanks to everyone who contributed to it.

Good book - hard to find your way around
This is a really good book. Lots of great content, interesting ideas and activities. However, the way the content page is laid out makes it hard to identify and find an activity/ approach for what you need. Eg if you are looking for something to help clients see an alternative perspective, you have to go through the entire book and read the summary of each activity to find it. A more comprehensive contents page, which either groups the tools in terms of purpose or gives an indication of what the tool can be used for, would make using the book *a lot * easier. Instead, I have created my own.
