Great Trap bar. Would buy agian.
Nice heavy duty bar. Well built. I like the step into design that helps keeps your body inline while lifting. Weight stays centered and dual hand grips are rugged.

BOS Trap
Great product! Really very happy with this purchase. Covers all the bases I needed it to. Similar fit and feel to the army aft deadlift equipment, so great training aid for aft improvement! Knurling on the handles which provides great grip, just enough and with thin plates you can stack up the weight. It feels very sturdy; I felt zero sloppiness in the bar. Glad o made the purchase and wholly recommend.

Bells of Steel Trap Bar โ 6 Month Review
Iโve been using the Bells of Steel trap bar for about 6 months now. It arrived well-packaged and the build quality is excellent. The bar looks great and feels solid and well-made in use. The built-in jack is a great feature and makes loading and unloading plates much easier. Initially, I thought the handles were a bit on the thinner side, but that was just an early impressionโI quickly adapted, and it hasnโt been an issue at all in training. One small thing to note: the bar can tip to one side when loading a single 45 lb plate on one end. Itโs easy to manage by just gently pushing down on the unloaded side while loading, so itโs not a real problem, but something worth being aware of. Overall, itโs been a great piece of equipment and Iโm very happy with the purchase.

Maybe the perfect trap bar?
This is my first trap bar and really the first one I've used. With that in mind, I can't really imagine a better trap bar for my needs. I read a lot of reviews of various cheaper and more conventional trap bars and read a few horror stories of cheap and busted packaging, damaged bars, bars that came rusty, and even bars that were welded non symmetrically. That led me to buy a higher quality bar (this one) at a premium over cheaper options. And as expected, none of these issues were present with this bar. Even the packaging was very, very well done. The bar is amazing with no issues. The two features that set this bar apart (other than overall solid quality) were ones I wasn't sure I'd really love, but as an engineer I respected the design so decided to go for it and give this unique bar a try. I'm glad I did! The loading feature is extremely convenient and works very, very well even in my small and cramped home gym. And while I haven't yet taken advantage of the open design, it seems like it would be great for farmer's walks or lunges. And despite looking like the open design might cause structural integrity issues, the bar feels very, very solid. I've had around 400 lbs on it for deadlifts and it feels like it could take a lot more (even if I can't) without any issues of bending or flexing. Lastly, I love how it can sit up on its stands along a wall behind my squat rack to store extremely conveniently while not in use.

The best trap bar. High quality for a good price.
This is the best trap bar Iโve used and I've used several. This is a well thought through design most of which is explained in the listing. The open design and built in bar jack are awesome! What really impressed me is that the collars are buttery smooth and the knurling is high grade. Its nice to see high quality bushings and snap ring sleeves at this price point. Its easy to store. No assembly required. The welds look good. Deadlifts, lunges, farmers carriers this bar does it all. Very happy with my purchase, itโs not the cheapest bar but it is a great value.

Best Hexbar ever???
Woweee!!!! I am pleasantly surprised! Let's start with the packaging: It's packaged with meticulous care and concern! Is a Rolls Royce inside? Nothing is spared to keep the Hexbar safe without bumps and bruises. It's even seated with real wood stabilizers to keep my Hexbar from moving. Now the product: This baby is well made and HEAVY! I'm 65 and am not ready to add weights yet. It's BEAUTIFUL to look at and adore when not in use. Keep in mind this thing is heavy and comes in a heavy cardboard box. I had to unbox my Hexbar at the door and carry up. Too big and heavy for most folks. I'm 6 feet 240 pds. Hernias don't interest me...lol. I got this for dead lifts because if done right the bar will keep me from slipping and falling. I'm 65! You younger folks will be challenged. Just add your Olympic plates and sweat! Be creative. Do arm curls, deadlifts, rows, shrugs, overhead lifts. The list goes on! Use the stable Hexbar for pushups, pullups from the carpet floor or do even leg stretches with the bar as your foundation. Forget about cheap "sunshine" hexbars that can only handle 400 pds. This bar cost more and I don't regret it! 5 stars!!!!!!!

My back thanks me
I'm no longer the young collegiate athlete that could throw a heavily weighted bar on his back with no consequences. This bar allows for a number of exercises to keep my legs, as well as other muscles, challenged. This is a well built, highly functional piece of equipment. Well balanced and no noise from the smoothly moving parts. It can hold far more weight than I'll ever put on it. Nice that there are two grip positions. There are similar cheaper bars, but this is a good value for the quality and functionality. Was well supported in a reinforced thick cardboard packaging.

Feels completely balanced.
Once i started using the hex bar, i was very impressed. The bar is feels fully balanced even though it is an open trap bar. Thus far I have tried using it for deadlifts, trap raises, lunges, shoulder press, and tricep bench press. Everything felt very good. This bar will now be a great compliment to my regular olympic bar. I also love how the bar is easy to store on its side and weights load effortlessly due to the way it props up on a side angle.

Lift Heavy, Live Forever
Picking up heavy weights and putting them down again has never been easier than with the Bells of Steel Hex Bar. It's simplicity is matched only by it's sturdiness. Make no mistake, this thing is solid. And you will be too, with repeated use. The hex bar is delivered in one piece, in a cardboard box. Pity the delivery man. I had it loaded up within minutes. Managed to fit 6 standard Invanko plates on each side, for a total of 585 lbs (including the bar), though I'll note this leaves no room for collars. You could load it up heavier if you had thinner plates. Knurling is just right, finish looks good, feels good in the hands. It's a great hex bar. From a Canadian company. Get it.

Really nice bar
Outstanding trap bar! You can tell it is a quality piece of equipment. It was the only bar that had teh real swiveling bar ends. Not free by no means at $399 but, But IMHO worth the moneyโฆ ๐
