HP Smart Tank 670 All-in-One Auto Duplex WiFi Integrated Ink Tank Colour Printer, Scanner, Copier- High Capacity Tank with Automatic Ink Sensor, Multicolor

I have been using HP DJ 1050 for 20 years ( yes, twenty ! ) . It is still working good. Paper try was broken few years ago , still able to use it. Only concern was high cartridge use. Usage has increased, hence wanted to go for new one. Question was, which brand I should go for .. none other than the one which lasted for more than 20 years !The new HP smart tank 670 printer was my choice..- It has ink tank expecting lesser printing cost- It can be connected via WiFi and Wifi Direct, no hazzeles of wires . When you use WiFi direct, you don't need a wifi router. Also if needed you can connect via USB ( and I guess via Bluetooth too, eventhough I have not tried to configure it)- It has duplex printing, without manual intervention, lot of paper and effort saving.- ColourAmazon delivery was as expected, dot on the date of delivery.Initially I thought of waiting for HP person to install the printer. However I wanted to give a try before that. As mentioned in the manual sheet, installed HP smart app in my laptop. And followed evey instruction by the app, starting from removing the safety tapes, cardboard etc inside the printer , filling the ink , installing printer head, etc. to final test print , wifi configuration and all. At every point, app on the laptop says successful or not. It was a super smooth installation without any hic ups. Being an ex IT person helped me or rather gave me a confidence to take a chance to install by my own. HP installation technician called me to visit next day, which I said not necessary.Today is the 4th day of installation, I have taken nearly 50 pages of print outs , I'm quite happy about my choice !

HP PRINTER 670 Is a good product and also tech support from HP is fine. But there is many discrimination in product or description given on Amazon about product is very wrong1. There is no any BLUETOOTH CONNERIVITY2. PRINT SPEED not more than 10ppm3. If u used duplex printing to print a pdf booklet using LANDSCAPE Orientation print then both side of paper is not printed in same direction.. one side print UPWARD and 2nd side of paper print DOWNWARD.4. PRINTing is very low colour shade.

1.Setup with wire is not working as usb unknown error is there tried all methods to fix with YouTube channel nothing works.2. Buy from h.p website will be better as the price is much better there.3.print quality is best, love the duplex printing and scanner has maximum 1200 dpi scan wow!4. Wireless printing good. But setup h.p printer is a headache their app never let you Register your product and keep show you error error! Tried all the method to fix it but its not let you set up completly.5. Drivers and all try it if you have luck then it will work for you.

Rated One Star only for its best quality prints. Other than quality, everything is full of errors, parts of printer are very much costlier, folirtly E4 error don't let you go anywhere. It's hlPaper Input Tray have sensor, Printhead is thrice the price of Normal HP Printhead. Owing this printer is like riding a Lion.

This is a great printer for home use and work from home use.Personally, I do not like printing a lot (environmental reasons), bit printing is unavoidable for school and education requirements. The reason I mention this is because infrequent printing had its own issues with inkjet-ink cartridge printers.This brings me to why I chose this model:Ink tank: Remains to be seen, but I think the Ink tank will solve issues related to the ink drying off and expensive pieces needing to be reordered.Wifi/bluetooth connectivity: Several personal devices connected in the home network will print as needed. This printer also provides cloud printing by HP, so some level of document management is also possible. But currently not using it fully.Auto-duplex: This is a big time saver. Test prints worked like a charm***SetUp and Installation: I went with the guided set up on the HP Smart Print App. Followed instructions as guided and everything happened in under 15 minutes.***Post Set up: Test prints are crisp and clear. Colour fidelity in documents is great. This encourages me to print photos at home. HP allows creating photo books via the app, while I think other free apps exist too.Common issue I was afraid of, but did *not* encounter:1. Connectivity: Worked accurately on the first go. Again, I installed Smart Print App first, and then followed steps in there.2. Duplex: Test prints worked well. Some people identified that second is not getting printed or paper gets stuck. So far, no issues.3. Print quality: Impressive print quality even in “normal” level of quality setting.Will report here id anything comes up, but so far, using this printer has been a breeze.Price: Picked it up on discount on Prime Day. Worth the price.

it’s been nearly 6 months I’ve been using this great printer and I’d say I’m extremely satisfied with it. Yes its a bit costly compared to other ink tank models but this gives you the luxury of wifi connectivity along with automatic duplex printing. Printing has never been so painless for me ever!I use this for my home and I would recommend this to anyone who has the need to print 100 - 300 pages a month. Being an ink tank, the ink will last for ages. Also you can print from anywhere in your home and from any device - windows, iOS, macOS, android. You just need to be in the same network as the printer is in. No need of flash drives!Honestly, the price difference is worth the peace of mind if you can afford it.
