JOAH Perfect Complexion Under Eye Concealer and Serum, Korean Makeup, Hydrating Under Eye Serum Concealer Stick for Dark Circles and Puffiness, Peptide Serum with Medium Coverage

I have bags and darkness under these 66 year eyes. Been searching for a concealer that doesn’t look globby or cakey under my eyes for many, many years. Ordered this on sale, thinking here we go again, another try another failure. But to my surprise, IT IS SO FABULOUS!!! Goes on smooth, lighter, with surprisingly great coverage. It seems magical, the way it seems to disappear under the eyes, and the sponge applicator supplies an excellent blending. The only thing I do is a concealer brush just to spread it a bit thicker on top of the dark circle. It stays quite well, and you can use a bit of translucent for even more longevity. I have spent a fortune over the years, but tell you that this is incredible value for a less than average price.

[background info] I currently own 19 concealers, from drug store to high end and all claim to be hydrating, creaseproof, and full coverage. Even two out of three wouldn’t be terrible but few even make it 5 mins without creasing and settling into my fine lines. I saw a recommendation for this concealer and remembered hearing about JOAH a few years ago but it quickly left my brain as a mom of 4. Well I had yearning to try a new drug store concealer so I purchased. I am beyond impressed with this concealer. One- it is hydrating with a natural finish which is what I love. Two- it is NOT full coverage which doesn’t bother me these days as I’m not trying as hard to cover my dark under eye circles. Three- IT. HAS. NOT. CREASED. This brand has figured it out, I’m not sure how they did it but it did not crease and I did not set with powder to be able to give a review without manipulation. The best part besides being creaseproof, is this is a SERUM CONCEALER including ceramides and peptides. Seriously? How can this be more of a win?

It is a thin consistency so it doesn't cake or crease. It has NO SCENT thank goodness!! I use it on spots all over my face either under or over my face makeup. It does dry quickly so work on one part at a time. I got he lightest one because I am fair/light. It was VERY light, almost white, so I put a little foundation over it. IT would work well for oily/combo skin, if you have dry skin, make sure you moisturize well before using. It may or may not work well on dry skin , but worth a try. You can layer it a couple times without it looking thick or cakey. Also the colors are a little lighter than they look so make sure you check out the color samples, you might want just one shade darker than it looks. I like that I can use it under power foundation and it doesn't grab or stick the powder and it looks natural.

I do not wear a lot of makeup and I was looking for a concealer that could hide the dark circles underneath my eyes. This concealer feels works perfectly!

I don’t like a heavy concealer so this is perfect for me. I have dry skin but oily in T-zone area. It’s creamy, light, blends easily & it doesn’t crease. This has been my go to since I bought in the beginning of April. My ultimate fav was Kosas but I tried them all nudestix, fenty, IT cosmetics, Dior, huda, Laura mercier, nars, Mac, etc. This is the best bang for the buck & effective! Lasts all day. It’s buildable if you’d like more coverage.

I have dry skin. I’m in mid-40’s. I have wrinkles under my eyes. I don’t have a ton of darkness but I do need some help evening and brightening my undereye. If you are looking for full coverage foundation - this is not it. If you are looking for truly crease-free, natural looking, skin-like medium coverage… THIS IS IT!!! This concealer has exceeded my expectations! It feels hydrating, I didn’t set with powder and for the first time ever it did not crease and settle into lines or make texture worse!!! I’ve tried Tarte Shape Tape (creamy and OG), Tarte Maracuja Oil, IT Bye bye Undereye, Nara Radiant, Dior Long Wear, ELDW concealer, Too Faced born this way. Many of these are good but we’re not perfect due to either making area look drier or creasing. I believe I heard about this from TikTok. I wish I could remember who bc I am so thankful!

Product arrived on time, and first impressions were good. I have not used this product on my face yet but I have swatched it and it has really nice coverage. It blends into my skin nicely as well. I got pretty lucky with my shade match fortunately. I’ve always bought the concealer wands because of the convenience but I’ve always thought they were a little too small, this one is larger and has a good amount of product. The container is heavy and sturdy too compared to other wands I’ve used in the past. A little goes a LONG way with this product and it DOES NOT need primed when first opened. I clicked it far more than I should have (maybe 5-6 times) and a lot of product came out. So maybe only click it once or twice when using it. Also the smell of the product it’s not overwhelming but it does smell strongly of sunscreen. Excited to see if it helps with my dark circles with the ceramides and peptides in it.
