Love it!
Great out-of-the-box sound, no offensive high or overwhelming bass.Great range, easily reach 10-15 feet on open environment with no walls or doors blocking. Battery is okay (3-4 hours on a full charge), but the low battery sound alert is kinda annoying. A little quirky connection issue. It stutters when I turn my head to the right (phone on shirt pocket). Also the battery box sometimes snags and tends to pull the earphone off. Got it on sale for $15. Can't complain for the price/performance.

Great sound quality, noise canceling but battery life is not the best. Why is the black pair so expensive???
I have had these for a whole now (over 6 months) and they are identical to the old Panasonic wired ones as far as audio goes. I love them as they are so convenient and desecrate for listening to music at work without getting caught. I use a little binder clip to keep them attached to my shirt in the back so they don't slide off. I am paranoid that I will loose them. The PRO being that they are SUPER light weight, comfortable and sound is amazing. CON battery life SUCKS no way do I even get 4 hours of play time,I would say about 2 hours streaming continuously from my spotify on full blast.Charge time sucks also as I want to hurry up and charge so I can immediately start listening to music again. I cannot listen to music while they are charging to the adapter either. I would give them a 4 out of 5 due to the streaming music time only being about 2 hours. The 5 minute auto shut down is kinda annoying too. I know it is to save battery power so you can have longer audio time but I feel that you should be able to turn that feature off and it is not offered with this pair. If anyone knows of any wireless identical to these that have a LONG battery life please let me know, any brand will do. Thanks

Stopped working after less than 5 months
Updating my review. The second pair of earphones I got stopped working in less than 5 months. Complete waste of money, would not recommend to anyone. --- Original review Bought these earphones in January (it is October now) because I had been looking for a pair of bluetooth earphones for a while. I've bought the wired version of these earphones for many years since its cheap and it works well, although they always stop working after about a year. Anyway, I was expecting these ones to at least last a year, especially since they are more pricey, but I was wrong. About three weeks ago the earphones bluetooth stopped remembering my phone, so I had to explicitly pair every time I turned on the earphones. I know its not my phone because all my other bluetooth devices are working just fine. This was generally annoying but w/e, I could live with it. Then, one week ago during a workout, the left earphone stopped working completely. There was no audio coming from it. I was pretty annoyed about it, but after turning them off and on a few times I managed to get some sort of sound coming from the left earphone. Basically, whenever there is silence (change of song, for example) there is a very strong static sound coming from both of the earphones for a few seconds. Its extremely annoying and makes me not want to use them anymore. I dont even know how the sound comes from the left one too if music doesnt play from that one anymore. Overall, really annoyed about them. Battery life is pretty bad too. Giving them 2 stars because at least sound quality is ok.

Unbeatable for price.
IEMs will always be somewhat subjective as the sound quality and comfort will vary depending on the fit and everybody's ear are shaped differently. For the price, these sound fantastic. With all small IEMs, bass is compromised but listening is still very enjoyable. The panasonic shape works better for me than Klipsch, Apple and every other brand I've tried. I would've taken the tradeoff if panasonic had made the battery case a little bigger and heavier for better battery life. I get 3-4 hours of use between charges.

Read this before you buy.
I love my Panasonic wired earbuds, so I thought I would try the wireless version. The ear pieces themselves are the same as my wired ones and fit well in my ears. The sound is just as clear and awesome as my wired ones. No problem there. They paired immediately with iPhone, no problems there. The main problem is the ergonomics of the wire that crosses over the back of your neck. The battery part is located right in the middle and acts as a little dangling weight. Every time I turn my head or bend down the battery weight falls off to one side of my neck, then I turn my head back and the weight stays put and yanks the earbud out of my opposite ear. I tried to wear these while doing yardwork, but it was impossible. I tried to wear them while riding my bike, same issue. If that battery part just stayed put (double sided tape on the back of your neck?) then it would be fine. But it doesnt, it is REALLY ANNOYING. On my last bike ride with them I actually taped the battery part to the back of my helmet, and they worked beautifully! However, on that same ride,I started to get a lot of static from the earphones. Every few minutes they would cut, crackle a little then the music would come back. They are fully charged, I checked. So I have not worn them since that last bike ride.... will probably hunt for a new pair and return these.

Not bad for the price, but I still prefer the wired version
Update (is anybody going to talk about the inexplicably higher price for the Black Version?): I got The Replacements in, and they're okay. The audio quality is good. Driver matching seems to be a little more consistent than on the wired headset. The addition of Bluetooth seems very basic and Half Baked. It's like they just took one of the wired earbuds, chopped off the audio connector, and stuck a Bluetooth module on. I can't find any way to call up any voice assistant or start a call from the headset. The microphone quality is also absolute garbage and basically worthless. The battery life is all so pathetic, coming in at around 2 hours. All in all, I'd say that these are a good alternative to the original wired earbuds if you're unfortunate enough to be stuck on a device without a headphone jack, but the world of Bluetooth audio has disappointed me once again. They sound nearly identical to their wired counterparts, that is to say they have good highs slightly muddy mids and some rather exaggerated lows. If you like the wired version of the headphones then you'll like these. Unfortunately, the right channel on mine died after about 5 Seconds. I'll update my review Once I receive the replacement.

The sound quality is balanced, better than other mainstream earbuds
The sound quality is balanced, better than other mainstream earbuds . The bass is not too hard and high pitch is not too sharp. The human voice is clear too. If you don't mind the low battery life, it's a good choice.

Almost perfect...almost
For years, I have had a favorable opinion of all things Panasonic. I have never had a Panasonic device that was made in Japan that ever disappointed me. The Panasonic VCR I purchased in 1996 still works. In the past, I have purchased the inexpensive, in-ear, wired headphones that Panasonic sells a ton of here on Amazon, for instance the RP-TCM125-K. This RP-HJE120B-K is very nearly the wireless/Bluetooth version of those wired phones in every way. They sound identical. UNIT FACTS MODEL: Panasonic Ergofit Wireless In-Ear Headphones with Built-in Mic RP-HJE120B-K DESIGN: In-ear WEIGHT: 0.4 oz. DRIVERS: 9mm neodymium drivers FREQUENCY RESPONSE: Not listed SENSITIVITY: Not listed CONNECTIVITY: Bluetooth 4.1, SBC codec, 10-meter / 33-ft. range (claimed) RECHARGEABLE BATTERY LIFE: 4 hours, 20 minutes hours (claimed), Battery type not noted, sealed, not intended for replacement. CHARGE TIMES: 90 minutes to full charge, 20 minutes to 1-hour charge MADE IN: China WARRANTY: 90 days IN THE BOX: Phones, Manual, USB / Micro USB cable, three pairs of earpiece sizes for adjustable fit MANUAL: One-sheet, U.S./Canada information + French/Spanish language in separate manual MSRP: $39.99 (at the time of this review) COMPONENTS The general construction of the phones is OK. They are inexpensive in-ear headphones. Nothing fancy. COMFORT Very comfortable, you can forget you have them on—when worn dangling the cord under your chin. But that is not how Panasonic tends to show them worn. Instead the pics of the product show them worn with the cord behind the users neck. And this is the way I would have preferred except the little plastic box mid-cable (which I assume holds the wireless electronics) tends to shift from behind the neck and to the right, toward where the right-side controllers are. This pulls on the left earpiece and also overly weights the right side of the neck, which is annoying. BATTERY LIFE Charged from fully drained to operational in about 20 minutes, as claimed. Seemed to get a full charge in just over 4 hours, so no irregularities from claims. Unit charges through a covered Micro-USB port in the controller. CONTROLS Three buttons on controller next to right ear: Power on/off + play/pause/answer + Bluetooth pairing button, volume up + next track button, volume down + rewind track button. Worked as claimed. MICROPHONE Included as part of the controller assembly near the right ear. Worked as advertised, with no complaints from those who heard me talk through it. WIRELESS For the most part, the unit paired and connected flawlessly EXCEPT it would not pair with my old Android phone running v5.0. Not sure why. The cell phone never showed it as an option. Other devices located the headphones easily. The claimed distance of about 30 feet is more like 20 feet in your typical home with walls. Outdoors, the reach better approaches claims. GENERAL SOUND IMPRESSIONS Again, these phones are pretty much the wireless version of similar Panasonic phones that Amazon sells here costing between $10-$20. The extra cost for these is not funneled into the sound but the Bluetooth capability. I put these headphones through the headphone and ear bud test at AudioCheck.net, and everything passed. The binaural knocking test was particularly impressive. Overall, for what they are, they sound good and have decent bass response. PROS + Ready to use out of the box + In most cases, Bluetooth pairs quickly and easily + Simple controls work and can easily be operated by feel + Lightweight, unobtrusive—a great "listen while you're working/exercising" headphones + Excellent sound, presence, and soundstage for such small, inexpensive phones CONS - With so little to them, these phones can be misplaced easily or covered with another item - Failure to pair and connect with an Android 5.0 Samsung cellphone is puzzling, as they paired with everything else easily - Shifting weight of the mid-cable box is annoying when worn behind the neck, as it tends to flop to the right side and pull on the left earpiece - Panasonic U.S. does not have the manual in PDF form, though it claims it's on the Japan HQ site, which also lacks it :-( - Warrantied for 90 days—Panasonic, you're slipping MIXED - Made in China IN SUMMARY This is a great pair of everyday, every-use, wireless headphones. Most of the complaints are quibbles, and I find myself using these Panasonics far more often than my "pro" Wearhaus Arc wireless headphones.

Aceptable

Excellent value for money!
I would have given 5 stars but.... I am not sure why Panasonic did not thinking of balancing the earphones. It tends to tilt on one side because of the BT / battery closure. Otherwise awesome value for money - I have tried over 4 different brands including more expensive ones. This one has a good overall frequency response and best bass response. the fit is awesome. But yes it comes closest to wire headset performance.

Prácticos
La batería dura poco más de 2 horas, lo cual sería ideal para usar en el gimnasio, si no fuera por qué no son resistentes al agua (con un poco de sudor se apagaron y no pude volver a ocuparlos hasta cargarlos de nuevo)

Good for weird tiny earholes
I have weirdly small ear canals and every other brand of earbuds pop out, so they're basically unusable. The shape of these, and their cheaper wired predecessor, makes these only earbuds I've ever found in any price range that fit. So if you're like me and have trouble finding any earbuds that work, buy these. That being said, there's something to be desired in terms of battery life, and the 'on' light is overly bright and blinky (only an issue when use them to sleep through my partner's snoring). Otherwise, sound is decent, connection works easily with my phone.
