I bought this enclosure and I’m really impressed. Installing the drive was completely tool-free and straightforward, thanks to the simple sliding design. The aluminum shell is lightweight and not burdensome. Once I plugged it in via USB-C, it was instantly recognized (no drivers required) Solid build quality and good cooling thanks to the aluminum body and thermal pad. Broad compatibility: worked with my Windows PC, and also tested on a Mac without a hitch.

Works like you expect. Nice enclosure that saves you from holding on to that old drive from a deceased laptop. Now we have mondo storage for videos on the tv. Sturdy, light and easy to load.

perfect product, the "screw" it comes with to keep the SSD down was a joke but it works perfectly nonetheless, its been sitting out of sight holding my games for a while now its worth it for 15$ or wtv i paid.

A simple way to take an old memory card and use it as extra file storage. I would purchase again.

I've been using this enclosure with a few drives for the past year or so, and I have not had a single issue, speeds are as expected, build quality is great, and the aluminum shell keeps drives quite cool Only problem is it is very hard to remove the drive after the thermal pad has been placed inside for very long, since you have to slide the inside out, which rips the pad across the inside of the aluminum shell, I just wish it had a hinge to open like others to make replacing or upgrading the drive better, otherwise great

Worked great for what I needed, which was cloning my SSD onto a new, larger SSD. I didn't notice any heat buildup. I guess you could just leave the enclosure open if it's getting hot. The upload and download speed seemed to only be limited by my computers max speeds. I'm now using it to house my old SSD that I'm using for a secondary backup method. It's always good to have multiple backup's.
