IT WORKS VERY WELL, ALL THE NIGHT, VERY STRONG LIGHT

The light is darkness activated rather than motion activated so I have not put stars against "Motion Detection". I am not actually using the lights as Security Lighting but have instead set them up as flood lighting, during the hours of darkness, for a small statue that I have - and for that purpose they are First Class.

Fantastic light so bright stays on for hours and still working after a year

So when I initially fitted this light we were having good daylight times and so the solar was charging just fine (it is on a South facing wall which is not overshadowed at any point in the day). Now we are in the declining months of daylight it is now clear that it cannot deal with the reduced charging hours and the light emitted is just a glow for a few hours before it dies. So basically when you need it most it doesn't work.

I used this to convert my old style 3 ft tall light in to a solar light with dusk sensor so no wires are run to it im amazed by how much light this produces would defiantly recommend

Delivery fantastic and all good, product has great features especially high battery storage for the light. However IT IS NOT AS DESCRIPTION it said in Amazon listing. In technical details that it includes motion sensor looking at it there does not seem to have any PIR option or motion sensor it may have dawn to dusk inbuilt sensors to switch off during daylight. But doesnt appear to have any option other than full beam all night long. This option can be very useful in some situations but pointless in my small garden surrounded by several neighbours. Even if it had a features that many have where it reduces output to 50% or 25% during constant running then triggers 100% when motion is detected. The advantage of having a fantastic battery capacity is wasted if all is needed for constant running all night. I advise clients on security options and am disappointed this item was not as the Amazon description said it was. I have not been able to fully test the light yet as it takes times to adorn sunlight to fully charge and it hasnt been very sunny lately. Please advise regarding this matter.

Got this for the shed, works a treat and the light brightness as 2nd to none
