Press & hold C button and press A button when you see clock on the screen.

Does it have power on/off? And does it have volume on/off?

There's a way to turn on/off the volume, but it's a bit complicated. You'll find the instructions in the manual. (Also, you can't power off unless you use the battery seal the device comes with.)

Of course, it is operated by 2 x LR44 batteries.
