Simply splendid!
Gil Shahan spoiled me when it came to Vivaldi's Four Seasons, then I heard this rendition. Fresh jubilant and festive are words that readily come to mind when listening to this vinyl recording. After a grinding week of work, I can put this on, sit back in my recliner, close my eyes and let the crazy of the past week just float away.

Fantastic
I own a Sonus Faber Cremona speakers, through them the orchestra sounds wonderful, smooth, not over bright, very detailed sound, I will enjoy it for many years.

Registrazione leggendaria
L'interpretazione di Karajan fa emergere dei dettagli della composizione mai uditi. Esecuzione che oserei dire di magica atmosfera. L'incisione è eccellentemente analogica. Il violino della Mutter è straordinario. Mi piace molto il timbro rotondo, mai stridente né troppo aggressivo, ma morbido del violino, dovuto all'interprete, ma anche alla buona registrazione. L'unica cosa che mi è piaciuta di meno è la posizione del violino principale un po' quasi in secondo piano rispetto all'orchestra, diverse volte sovrastato dai contrabbassi e celli; sarà forse una decisione di Karajan, so che seguiva nei minimi dettagli il lavoro di post produzione. Comunque, disco da avere assolutamente. Lo consiglio vivamente.
