Build-in LED lights powered by water flow- sound amazing- how does it work ?

Hello, here is AVSIILE Customer service team. The water flow runs the blades of a turbine to generate power that turns the LED sink light on. The magic of LED happens inside the aerator, the piece on the tip of the faucet that regulates water flow. Hope this can help you.

When turning the water flow lower it drips backwards onto the vanity top. Anyway to add something to the bottom of the spout so it doesn’t do this?

Dear, we do not suggest that using the faucet under a low water pressure cause it may cause the water flow backwards and the LED light might not be able to be turned on. Please measure to see if the water pressure is normal according to the instruction on the page.

Can you mount this faucet without using the cove plate underneath the base?

Yes you can. I don't recommend this faucet. Can't adjust the water flow so water is splashing out of the sink to the floor if opens fully. I adjusted the ball valves under the sink but still no good. And it is really noisy. I will remove mine and return it.
