This beautiful Nakiri knife from Shan-Zu is by far the best knife i have ever had. The feel of it and the weight and balance are wonderful, the sharpness and cutting performance is excellent, perfect straight cuts with no veering off to the side like some knives do. The appearance of it is also great, its has a 67 layer damascus blade which looks beautiful with the swirl and raindrop patterns, the handle is hardwood fitted reassuringly to the tang with rivets marked with the Shan-Zu logo and capped at the end with stainless steel also marked with the logo. I am very pleased with this knife and will be looking at other knives from this company.
