I bought this more than six months ago, charged it up, and left it in the trunk of my car as a precaution should I ever be left stranded with a weak car battery. Risk aversion often calls for buying thing one hopes never to need. Well, today that need arose: the car wouldn’t start on account of an evidently too-weak battery. Even after months in my trunk and through a particularly cold winter, the jump starter was still showing a 100% charge and worked perfectly, getting me back on the road an on my way to buy a new car battery. This is a must-have item in any car.

I had my blazer battery go down in charge due to not using it enough. Hooked up the P-ONE and it started easily. Only used 3% of the existing charge. So much easier than moving another vehicle and dragging out jumper cables. I have been telling my friends how well this works, takes up a lot less space than Jumper Cables, and will charge my phone if needed.

My husbands car was left sitting for a month, battery was completely dead. I ordered this with the expectation he can have it around once we got the car running if it gives him trouble after we revive the battery. I did NOT expect this to actually jump start his car from the actual dead! I decided to try since it advertised that it could. Less than ten minutes and his car is on! Barely drained the battery. I cannot recommend this product more! Best amazon purchase I’ve made in a while!!

This thing is totally worth the money. Not only for jumping your car but it's saved me for charging devices when I'm on the go cause I've ran out of power points. I saw some reviews about people complaining they bought it and tried to use it a year later and it didn't work but like I imagining leaving it in a car year around through heat and cold wouldn't be good for any lithium ion battery but I use mine so much for my hoopty car, devices, and saving other people I bring it in frequently to charge it. 4 months later and it's still works great. I even just now used it to jump a 1992 24volt dodge Cummins diesel. Sucker fired right up and only dropped the supply 6%. The emergency lights and flashlight are great too if you can't get back on the road you can let people know you need help.

This can Jump-Start my small SUVs easily (both Ford Escapes - 2010 & 2014 models). That is not an issue. I am very experienced in the matter. All Five Stars there. It holds the Charge for many months. Once fully charged, it can remain 100% after a month easily, or even much more than that perhaps. That way it is very good. However, please give a "Manual Power-Off Button". The Manual says that it has an "intelligent system" which shuts power off after 30-secs. That works usually. However, it can fail too. This Model used to be called "Tacklife". It had the exact same design and User Manual Content as this "PowRun". I had bought that in 2021 and it served me very well. However, that is NOT Shutting Off on its own now (it used to shut off but no longer does) . The Unit is all right otherwise but it Doesn't Shut Off. That means it will keep draining battery when not in use. It DEFEATS THE PURPOSE of carrying it around to Jump Start. You never know how much charge will be there to jump start when you really need it. If you have a Manual Power-Off Button in addition, that will prevent the issue. Please consider it. Secondly, this PowRun Model does not have a Cigarette Lighter 12V Output (which the older TackLife Model had). Please put that Cigarette Lighter 12V Output back in again. It would be great to have a 12V Supply to power other things like a 12V Tire Inflator. I am not sure why it was removed from this version of PowRun. That was a wrong move by the designers and has made this model deficient in some ways. The "Compass" is practically useless. Who needs a Compass in a Jump Starter? You can use that space for a Manual Switch-Off Button. Otherwise "functionally" the PowRun is very good. You should be able to Jump Start your SUV and smaller cars easily. I have done it many times with both the older version named "TackLife" and this "PowRun". It is a very good thing to have all the time in your Trunk, as long as you keep it fully charged. You will feel lucky if you need a Jump Start and have this with you. ******* IMPORTANT UPDATE on 4th May, 2025 ******* Please Read Below: Though I had written above that my old "Tacklife" was not shutting off on its own, that problem seems to have gone away. It is shutting off on its own after 30-seconds or so. I am not sure what happened last time and why I had experienced the problem at that time. So, I am correcting my previous review above myself, so as not to mislead future buyers. The rest of my review above remains the same. I would still like to have a "12V DC Outlet" with the old "Cigarette Lighter" type of socket attachment included. It becomes very handy to draw power from this device, to run a Portable Tire Inflator for example, or other small devices which run on 12V DC. That is a very important part missing from this model of "Powrun".

Djing late nights sometimes results in accidentally leaving my radio on after unpacking my gear. My brand new car battery died as a result, and I had to get somewhere the next day. After checking Amazon for car starters and car jumpers, this portable car jumper came up, and it also had free delivery for the same day that it’s ordered. I was concerned that it wouldn’t work given its smaller and more portable size. My SUV is a Nissan Murano LE with a 3.5 Liter V6, and the last time this occurred, a friend helped me start my car by using large jumper cables, which took around 15 mins to charge the battery in my Murano enough to drive. This portable battery jumper arrived literally the next day, and it had an 85% charge. Once the neatly packaged portable jumper kit was opened, I charged it to 100% in well under 20 mins. When that was done, it took me 5 seconds to attach the jumper cables, which were included in the portable car jumper’s hard shell case, to the portable charger. The included instructions were very simple, and once my SUV was turned on, there was so little power that when the heater started to function, the car battery completely stopped. I attached the portable car jumper’s dual jumper cable clamps to the positive and negative connectors on my car battery, and the green light on the portable car jumper began flashing rapidly to show that my car battery was completely dead. If this occurs, there’s a little button on the portable jumper that says boost, you’ll have to tap it once while your car is off, and then wait for exactly 30 seconds before you turn your car on. In my case, once that happened, my battery, which was completely dead, was running at full capacity again. There were no large jumper cables that needed to be attached to someone else’s car battery, in addition to starting your car on neutral, or any other process that had to be done at all. It’s unbelievable how amazing this portable car jumper actually is. It’s small enough to fit inside my glove box, and it’s truly incredible how powerful it is, in addition to this, starting my car with the portable car jumper only took its charge from 100% to 98%. The portable car jumper has a flashlight that turns on when the only other button it has is held down, tapping that button turns on the SOS light strobe flashing mode. There are also 2 USB ports on the charger that can be used to charge your phone, or any other USB powered devices, so this can also technically be used as a powerful, portable power bank. There’s really nothing else that anyone could ask for, given that this portable car jumper does exactly what it’s intended to do, and as a result, this is an easy 5 star product for its convenience and speed. This portable car jumper is much more effective than using a pair of traditional jumper cables, and it’s a lot safer to use as well. The only other important device that you should have in your car is a portable tire inflator, which helps you avoid having to get air at gas stations. It’s impossible not to recommend this device, if you have a car, you need to have this portable car jumper as a quick and convenient life saver.

This works great even on a very large truck. I was leaving a store and a woman needed a jump start for her big truck and I brought this out. Her guy friend laughed at me and said it was a nerds toy. I just smiled and inside I prayed it would work. She popped the hood, I connected the cables, let it sit for a minute and told her crank the engine and it started right up. She looked at him smiled and told him to shut up. Gave me a hug and told me her name. Heck yeah, I would recommend this product.

Purchased ($64.18) and used for the 1st time in October 2024 The first time I used the starter, it did not work. I think that was more user error because I was not sure how to get it to work. I watched a YouTube video where they mentioned the boost button. The 2nd time I used it (Jan 2026), I was not confident it would work because it was exposed to below freezing temperatures in RI for 4 months. When I turned on the starter, it was 100% charged. I used it to start my car, and it worked! After 1st use, it was at 97% charge. I used it a week later to help a woman whose car. It started the car right after attaching it to the battery. The battery charge dropped to 93%. Note: both vehicles were Honda CRV 3rd and 4th generation. I am impressed that the battery holds its charge despite being in the car in 8 degrees temps.
