What sort of covering does this have? It looks like pleather.

i don't know what material it is made of. some sort of synthetic . but really helps me when mowing the lawn. i am in my 70's and in last 5 years have broken both wrists and makes a big difference when mowing the lawn. can't beat the price for what it does.
