I recently had the opportunity to use the Waxoil Rust Spray, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with its performance. The fact that it's a British-made product only adds to my admiration for this fantastic rust inhibitor. First of all, the Waxoil Rust Spray is incredibly easy to use. This is British made - which is a bonus these days. The nozzle sprays a fan shape for area coverage, and I found you can twist the nozzle insert to angle the fan to your liking. This goes on thin which seeps into gaps but quickly sets to a more firm consistency ( it is solvent based ). Good coverage, It is so easy to apply i would not mind re-applying every year.

It's an expensive way of buying 'waxoil', but it has to be the handiest format - 500ml spray cans - for getting it on to a surface to be protected. Works well, nice strong and consistent spray and it doesn't clog-up or lose pressure. Would be handy to have been supplied with an extension spray nossle attachment. I have loads left from previous alternative brand purchases that luckily fitted, but none was supplied with the Jenolite. Performance seems to be ok. The 22 year old Volvo V70 gets a coating underneath every year and it still looks good. As with any light wax coating, don't blast it off with a power washer! Just a low power rinse with clean water is all that's needed to remove salt during the winter.

Easy to apply, and dries clear. So far so good. Also used on my old rusty gate lock, which now slides across smoothly.

Stuff is crystal clear and stays on really well. Even sprayed some on the coal stove exhaust pipe a few months ago and it’s still shiny, long term corrosion protectant, give up the wool wax and oils they just don’t stick around. There YouTube videos on the topic of what corrosion protectors work best. LPS 3 is the best in all salt spray tests but it’s more expensive
