Love this! I got it because it was on sale and thought that it was a really good deal. I was blown away by the deal because you get so many options for pencils to work with and the amount of lead you have. Don't worry about having to buy any for a while! Definitely worth it. If I need to buy another set again I will! The durability I have no idea yet. I have only really used it a little bit, but so far they seem to be pretty good quality. They don't seem to break easily but I can't say for certain. The grip on them is fantastic. I really like it because it's not overly grippy but it's not slim or slippery. So really good and the functionality of it? Works just like your regular old artist mechanical pencil so definitely love it. The erasers are actually really good, not something I would particularly purchase personally, however, for the set they're actually not bad

THESE ARE SUCH NICE PENCILS!!! 10/10 recommend!! They are so cute too especially the golden ones. Usually metal pencils are pretty heavy, but the silver ones are so lightweight! For the most part they are art materials, but they still work just as great for writing! The silver ones are more light color and not very pigmented when you write, more of a light grey than that darkish grey. But i love these. Get them. Now.

This is a really good quality set for the price. Different size tips, replacement lead, several erasers both bulk size and fine tip. It even has sharpeners for mechanical pencils. I didn’t even know those existed. Good solid quality pieces overall. Soft grip is comfortable to draw with.

As a long, long time professional illustrator, while still in high school back in the 80's, I for decades loathed mechanical pencils, and used exclusively high grade, gradient graphite pencils and an exacting pencil sharpener, plus Staedtdler and Prismicolor erasers. But within the past 15 years I've found the mechanicals quite effective & convenient for the purposes of comics, transfers, character layouts, etc. Now I sketch small portraits with them nearly exclusively--they are my go-to pencil now, more diverse than a basic Ticonderoga in shading, and though I still don't employ mechanical pencils in true artwork as a primary source, their use is still impactful when applied. More can be achieved than believed. This set has aesthetic & solid metallic pens & very comfortable, erasers-that-work galore, and lots of easy to load & varied good leads, put to any purposes. This is a quality set to get and no doubt it will add to your work. Pick one up. If you just want pencils in college that look cool for note-taking, they still are great to scribble, or write math equations, with.

In short, literally what the title says. They actually have a lot of perks to them like a decent rubber grip that will likely soften and become grippier over time (a little hard for my liking but they literally just got here so this is just my initial impression), or even the 2.0 cap has a sharper on it! They are definitely better than a Bic your kid will find on the floor, but also cheap enough that arguably, won’t be a big deal if they lost it like if it was a Kuru Toga Advance or something. That’s kinda the only praise I can think of giving them now. Anyone who’s curious about why I’m only giving this a 4 star and any other opinions/recommendations I have, feel free to read on: Now I knew what I was likely getting when ordering these, so I wasn’t expecting TOO much, however… As someone who does avidly collect mechanical pencils of varying qualities and brands, it seemed a bit absurd to me that the gold pencils - while admittedly look cool - are primarily plastic with only the grip section being the only “metal” part. And of course even then the metal feels cheap, which is fine! I definitely was expecting that given the price point and how much you were getting. I was honestly expecting some weight to them (I like my pencils a little heavier but that’s just preference of course), or a cooled initial touch, but not even that…. So that was a huge let down for me. The title description said metal so I assume *everything* was metal of some sort. That’s the only reason I can’t give it a 5 star rating, but what follows is more of just airing out my thoughts, nothing really much more negative than this. Being very real here, this brand is basically using molds/ideas from other established brands that sell these exact pencils at a better quality and higher price point of course. In other words, this is the store brand version of the name brand. So as long as you don’t mind/haven’t used a quality pencil like that, these should be fine! Some other things to note about both the 2.0 and 0.5, 0.7, and 0.9 varieties: 2.0 - this isn’t like the Blocky Gear 2.0 where you push the top and it works like a normal mechanical pencil. This has more a clutch mechanism, what that means that with one push, your lead could easily just fly out of your pencil. So watch out for that! 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 - I’ll be honest, the clicking to advance lead doesn’t feel very good, even Bic pencils feel better than this… This pencil though, IS metal, most of it at least is. The grip is quite slippery despite it being rubber, so give it time to soften and potentially become grippier. Listen at the end of the day, these pencils will get the job done like a regular wooden pencil would, and if you’re on a budget, these pencils are okay enough. I only got these because I was hoping the gold pencil would feel close enough to a brass pencil I had 3682737 years ago. But if I did have to recommend a pencil dupe from this brand, I would get the pencils from the BLOCKY GEAR line, they are a lot like Pentel’s Graphgear 1000 line! And it’s actually a lot more comfortable than this particular set of pencils, not to mention they feel more like metal pencils, arguably a better bang for your buck if you can afford them :) These aren’t bad pencils, just a little different from what I was expecting and definitely different from what I’m used to (that part was to be expected of course) Do what you wish with this information, I don’t care, I’m just here to give an unsolicited opinion.

I am a stickler for precise working pencils and these seem to do the job. Has the quality to get my sketches started - and the precision to get into tight areas.

A must have !! After 45 years of drawing, been through many brands of pencils. This i will say is a very nice set. Currently use pental graph mechanical because of their design and quality. Once i tried this set from nicpro i was hooked. Great feel not heavy and not light. Very durable . Size is perfect . These are solid pencils with smooth action for lead delivery. The gold pencils are the bigger lead .7-.9 , they have metal parts and when clicker is depressed the lead will shoot out so be aware of this. Very good mechanism inside. These are a bit heavier since they hold the larger lead. No complaints with these pencils. Will be purchasing more. Also come with lead refills and graphite erasers. This is a set that comes in a plastic case, case not so great but it does help protect the items in shipping.

This is an excellent and well priced mechanical pencil set. Included are three gold coloured metal pencils for drafting, and three silver coloured metal writing pencils and enough lead and erasers to last for years, in my case. It all came neatly boxed and even had little lead sharpeners for the lead in the drafting pencils. I was quite pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items and everything that was included.
