Does a great job
I was struggling to find this paste. But here it is, teflon tape didn't do the exact same job as hemp. And once you've put a lot of tape chances are it might be a real pain if one day you need to unscrew that part. With hemp and paste the seal is better and it's still easy to disassemble. Apparently you could use silicone instead of this paste, but I'm not an expert so I'd stick with hemp + paste
