This device is a life saver! I repair tiny N-Gauge scale model railway trains, usually needing to be serviced because they are poor runners. I am pretty good at repairing, but for one thing, motor carbon brush springs! The flipping things 'ping off' and a ever so easily lost because they are so fine and small. Quite often these springs are often badly bent and damaged too. I had to get some 1.2mm steel rod to wind some wire copper strands into making replacement springs. As you read, 1.2mm. They really are tiny springs! Losing them renders the model loco 'useless', so this device is a lifesaver.

What can I say, I love it. After looking for a while I could not find what I wanted then came across this. Much better than expected. Good materials used. Turning mechanism very smooth as I thought this would have been an issue. Very impressed. Definitely recommend. Independent review. Definitely worth 5*.

Ok don't get we wrong, this is a great tool an i will be using it a-lot. I an finally able to wind square wire accurately, something surprisingly difficult to do without twisting. However the product could be improved. The chuck is fine but the “neck mounting” is poor, strong but not when turning. I will be adding some grease to mine

I don't often review but This is great! I used to wind silver wire over different random formers by hand but this machine makes it so much easier, I can wind sonmany more links in 1 go too as they are long. I have used up to 3mm round silver wire with it and it has been super smooth. I mounted it on a big chunk of wood and put feet on it for stability and drilled holes for all the bits.

Makes perfect coils! Recommended!

This little piece of equipment does a great job. My husband easily mounted it to my workbench and I like the case to keep the mandrels and chuck key in. It was dispatched quickly and arrived safely.

Als es geliefert wurde, war ich überrascht. Es was ein recht kleines Päckchen. Danach hat es mich überrascht, dass es in eine Hülle zu finden war, die man gut überall mit hinnehmen kann. Aber es ist wertig verarbeitet, für die Größe recht schwer und tut was es tuen soll: den Draht gleichmäßig drehen und biegen.
