Fantastic mouse with 1 minor issue
Switching from my old rival 5 to this was easy, and I've been wanting a wireless mouse for YEARS since my mouse cable always used to get caught and mess up my aim. This one has fixed my issues perfectly! It's nice, light, and feels good in the hand though the piano black gloss finish on the side buttons feels a little bit less premium than the finish on the rival. I have rather small hands for a man in his 20s (~20cm outstretched from pinky to thumb tip), but my hybrid palm / claw grip works comfortably with this size, although the silver thumb button towards the mouse is a bit tricky to reach, but I can hit it if i readjust my grip on the mouse, but that's not very likely mid-firefight in game. SteelSeries GG software works great, though I installed a 3rd party app to monitor the battery levels in the system tray. I usually get about 2 days of use (about 8-10 hours per day) with the RGB on, and around 3-4 with RGB turned off (always with max poll rate, 400 cpi, 10 minute sleep timer). the one semi-important con I've found with this mouse is that, occasionally, after waking from sleep, the mouse will move around the screen just fine, but the button presses wont register. This is easily fixed by turning the mouse on and off again with the switch underneath, but just something to be aware of if you ever encounter this issue. I haven't bothered to RMA the mouse because of this, since I've been through the SteelSeries process a few times, and I don't like how it leaves me without a device for a few days) All in all, pleased with the fit, finish, and functionality. If you're coming from a rival 5 or other similarly sized mouse, the transition should be pretty much seamless! Just don't bother with the RGB, you'll get much better battery life and only lose out on functionality you cant see when the mouse is in use.

Awesome light mouse with irritating bloatware & RGB
Good: Very light mouse with solid PTFE pads on the bottom - feels very precise. As a guy with medium sized sweaty hands, this fits perfectly and the extra ventillation is a big plus for me. I game several hours a day typically and the battery is lasting 1 -2 weeks. Charge time is an hour or so and you can use the mouse while plugged in, so this is no issue for me. Bad: the RGB can only be turned off by installing the bloatware. Only off while connected to PC, otherwise it defaults to on, after the warranty is up I am going to desolder the LEDS.

It’s genuinely good.
I don’t know why these reviews are so critical, this is genuinely an excellent mouse. It’s ergonomic, responsive, tracks super well, stylish, built nicely, packaged well, decent software, and never had issues with the wirelessness (Though I’ve only had it for few days, my first impressions are still met.) I improved instantly in games because of its general abilities and the buttons are a nice touch and don’t interfere with anything at all. The value for money could be a bit better too, but you definitely get what you pay for. An excellent mouse. Only dealbreaker I have is the battery, which I can always charge the mouse easily from my desk when I’m not using it, but it drains a little too fast for comfort. Overall, brilliant. I think 4.5 stars is a much better rating but can’t do that.

Great gaming mouse
I play games like Arc raiders/BF6 and MMOs and love mapping my buttons to the mouse, loving the mouse so far, lots of customizable buttons and RGB options, feels very light, feels nice in the hand, functions really well, mouse wheel is high quality, the side buttons seem close together but I haven't accidently pressed the wrong side button yet (silver side button felt out of reach but my older mouse was a bit smaller, used to it now) 3 different connections via dongle/wired/bluetooth all work well, I prefer the wireless dongle, comes with an adapter for the dongle if you don't have a USB-C port. If you download the GG engine from the SteelSeries website you get alot of customizable options and their version of aim labs kind of cool. Overall best mouse I've used so far, will update the review if any issues down the line.

Lightweight and Comfortable, but Lacks Essential Grip Support
I like the Aerox 5 wireless mouse, especially for its lightweight design and suitability for palm grip users. The RGB lighting is a nice touch for those who care about it, though it doesn't really matter to me since I'm not much of a gamer. While the mouse itself is easy to grip and comfortable to hold, it lacks plastic grips or grip stickers, which is a major downside. To save on weight, these were left out, but this causes the mouse to slip on the sides during use. For me, grip paper is essential. Unfortunately, the mouse does not come with grip stickers, and while they sell grip paper on their website, it’s only compatible with the Aerox 3. Customer support even recommended buying the Aerox 3 grip paper and cutting it to fit, which is disappointing given the price of this mouse. The correct grip stickers should have been included in the box or at least made available at a more reasonable price — not £12! Update after a 10 days: After extended use, this mouse fails to meet basic user needs. The lack of grip is a major issue — it slips out of your hand far too easily. No grip tape is supplied, and there isn't even an option available for this model, which significantly reduces its usability. This is a critical flaw because it completely negates the benefit of the lightweight design. When the mouse slips, you end up gripping it tighter, which puts unnecessary strain on your hand and defeats the entire purpose of having a light mouse meant to enhance comfort during long sessions. Additionally, after comparing other mice on Amazon, I found several similar-looking options, which I suspect are made with almost identical parts, offering the same functionality at a fraction of the price. Many of these cheaper options even come with a charger included, which also addresses another problem — the Aerox 5’s disappointing battery life. To make matters worse, the bottom pad near the sensor was misaligned right out of the box, and I had to fix it myself, pointing to quality control issues. At this point, I can no longer recommend the Aerox 5. The absence of grip pads, poor battery life, and apparent quality assurance problems make it feel overpriced and exploitative. This mouse would be reasonable at £25-£30, but certainly not worth £100. Avoid.

This is my favourite mouse EVER.
You know when you use something and something awakens inside and you know that that product was meant for you? That's this mouse for me! It's light as hell, it's responsive and actively made me better at games immediately, I have big hands and this mouse fits perfectly and comfortably I literally play for 6-7 hours sometimes and have zero pain or discomfort. The honeycomb I was sceptical it would distract me but you can't even feel it so another benefit! Mouse is accurate and fast and feels so premium. It has just that perfect amount of buttons so if you're like me and aren't masters of keyboard buttons you can take the load off a little by utilising the 5 side buttons which are perfectly placed to reach at any moment. I am actually heavily tempted to buy a second one just so I have one ready to go! Also the battery is great and will last you plenty of time but if you do need to charge it, the cable is high quality braided but it isn't rigid and and tough so you can still use it happily while charging without feeling the cord pull too much.

A fantastic showing by SteelSeries
Having used this mouse for a good few weeks now, I can say that it ticks all the boxes for me! This mouse is very comfortable and ergonomic even in my large hands, as well as being surprisingly light. The mouse is quiet against the mouse pad and has satisfying button clicks. The Dpi settings are always nice to have, and this mouse offers a decent range. The option to use this mouse wirelessly is a very nice addition, although I have found myself using it wired most of the time for productivity sake. I purchased this mouse on sale and after using it for a while, I would have been happy paying full price for it, so a great value for money. It's perfect for gaming, and the added functionality of the side buttons make it useful for shortcuts in softwares like Blender.

Super light mouse and very comfortable.
Love this mouse, so comfortable in the hand. I have medium to large hand size and it fits perfectly. Plenty of customisation options. Connection is flawless and super smooth gliding over the mouse matt. Dpi is much better than my last mouse.

Was immerhin in Sekunden geht.

ANNOYING AF
Lightweight and excellent feel but very disappointing on two fronts. One is the battery. Needs charging every two days and that too with minimal use. Second is that it frequently disconnects and every reconnect add another copy of the same mouse wherein I have to go into the settings and manually delete the older ones. VERY ANNOYING. I have tried this with the mac book pro m1 and the imac and the issue is the same on both systems. **Even the older Aerox 3 mouse has the same issue.** If anyone can suggest another mouse with similar features, good battery but runs well on a mac I will gladly try.
