Great for car camping
This spoils water very fast. You can't beat the heat level control of the knob. Ignition works flawlessly. Easy to clean. Not heavy. The non-stick surface works great. The lip on the pan makes it possible to use it to pour drip coffee without dripping itself. Easy to stash. Used it daily for 2 months with zero problems. I originally bought the double burner but that will be good for larger groups. This is great for a single person or two. High quality construction and thought. I just use the joke of a wind barrier inside the zip bag case to keep it stiffened around the edges, which makes it easier to put the stove back in. The propane connector works great, I haven't had any leakage. I check the connection at the bottom between the connector and the stove whenever I screw the propane bottle in to the top end. I disconnect the bottle every time.

Amazing Turndown Feature
Very nice product! I don’t take camping but cook outdoors with it to avoid smells inside the house. We also take to picnic areas. The turndown feature lets me cook at any heat I want. Our 2 burner camp stove of a different manufacturer doesn’t turn down like this one and lowest heat is just too much. This has been a great addition to our grill and smoker.

Jetboil 1/2 Gen stove is amazing!
The half gen stove is a must for car camping. I even use it outside at home while I’m grilling. The flame control is amazing. You can use the green propane bottles but I prefer to use the ignik gas growler which us refillable (more cost efficient and less waste because the green propane bottles are not refillable) Just like cooking on my stove at home. Doesn’t take up a lot of space and I like that it comes in its own storage case. If you want you can also attach one of your other Jetboil stoves to it with a hose link. It’s well worth the money.

Too heavy for hiking or backpacking, but a great backup cooking unit.
I live in SW Florida, we purchased this stove to put in our “Hurricane Preparedness Box”, it is so nice, I expect we will use it more often than that! The stove is well made, nothing looks or feels cheap, the fry pan is non-stick and about 9” in diameter, large enough to cook breakfast for two. I also brought the optional “Dutch Oven” in which we could cook pasta or soups. The stove works on 1# propane bottles that are inexpensive and are available at most hardware and big box stores. It’s a classy looking kit that requires no assembly and the whole unit fits nicely in the sturdy nylon case. A larger case comes with the Dutch oven and holds that along with the stove and the cooking base. I don’t expect this is what you would want for tent camping or hiking, but it would be great as an extra burner for holiday dinners or as a chaffing dish. There is also a cool feature that allows you to attach several units together! I highly recommend this stove.

Best backpacking stove EVER. Just one question...
This thing is incredible. Literally the best camping stove I've ever seen or used in my life. Weighs nothing in comparison to my other gear, and it was a welcome sight to come back to base camp, and be able to cook something that wasn't just another dehydrated meal. Steak and potatoes our first night, pancakes and eggs the next morning. My only complaint, and maybe someone out there can set me straight, but the pipe for the propane tank is a nuisance. It never seems to point in the direction you need it too, and given that you're cooking in the back country, you don't have a lot of options for big or flat surfaces to work with. Maybe this is just a person thing, but I'm always afraid I'm going to break said pipe. It feels oddly fragile. Does anyone know if Jetboil offers a hose like Coleman does? Or perhaps there's a universal alternative for smaller stoves like this? Heck, does Coleman use the same attachments and I can just buy one of theirs? All that being said, this is a great product and well worth the money if you want something reliable for proper cooking on the trail that isn't going to break your back carrying it. Oh, on a side note- If you want a lid for this thing, look up- Ciieeo 24cm Universal Pans Pots Lid Saucepan Cover Stainless Steel Frying Cover. Sadly, the one Jetboil makes is made of plastic and will melt if you put it on the pan and not the pot.

Pros and Cons
I like the color, carry pack, ease of use. I am not happy with the high cost. The pan does not have the Patent Trademark heating element like the pot or the JetBoil mugs. The gas line attachments can easily strip threads and the "kind of" cheap flimsy wind shield/guard (However it is effective). Overall, I find the JetBoil stove not very Bike-Packer or Hiker friendly due to it's size and weight. This JetBoil system can only really useful for large groups or a sizeable Basecamps whereas camping equipment is brought to the site via Sport Utility Vehicle.
