Fixes your Kitchen Aid blender for $8.41
You get 2 new teeth and a little wrench for $8.41. Took longer to open the package with a pair of scissors and find a pair of pliers than it took to put the wrench on the motor's shaft and turn the busted teeth clockwise with the plier. Fixed in a jiffy. I only used a plier because there was very little left of the old teeth to grab.$8 fixes a $100 blender. Simple. Now we won't talk about the Amazon package being a day late.

Why did it take me so long to discover this?
I had a beautiful red KitchenAid blender sitting around in a cabinet for so many years, because that stupid coupler disintegrated after not many uses, and it was too nice and heavy to throw away... Finally a couple weeks ago I was decluttering and had to address the stored blender. I decided to search for the part on the KA website with no luck, but somehow stumbled on these aftermarket parts. There are no instructions in the package, but there is plenty of help to be found on the Internet of how to switch it out. My old coupler was so bad it was the consistency of tar and got black goo all over my hand - the “rubber” got separated from the aluminum base, so my husband twisted the base off with a wrench. After that it was just clean it up and put the new one on. I had to find the assembly instructions online because I forgot how to reassemble the blender correctly after all these years, but now it’s good as new and I have my blender back! So great! Just make sure to pay attention to what you do clockwise and counterclockwise because it’s the opposite of what you’re used to, but beyond that it’s an easy fix.
