Bought our first Kittmip animal repeller two years ago to keep deer away from our Hosta landscape plants. It worked great for a radius of about 30 feet. As we expanded our landscape we had to find a way of protecting rose bushes and flower beds in other areas of our yard so we bought two more repellers. All my neighbors have given up on Hostas and flower beds because of aggressive eating by the numerous deer in my neighborhood. One of the new repellers stopped working after one week. I returned the defective repeller and got a replacement quickly from the vendor through the Amazon return process. So far the new repellers are working normally. I will update if any future issues.

These "ultrasonic animal repellers" did absolutely NOTHING. Oh, the indicator lights work. I cannot tell if any "ultrasonic" sounds were emitted. What I can tell you with 100% CERTAINTY that they DO NOT repel animals. I set one up. Fully charged. I put it in the path that my two dogs take to get to the back yard. When they got close, the "animal repeller" was triggered. And that's it. Our pug looked down at the ground. Looked back up, and then carried on her way. Our bulldog who was with the pug didn't respond at all. She just kept walking by. I have to admit that I was dubious to the manufacturers claims on these type of devices. Turns out I was right. I am returning them.

Unfortunately, this product did not work as expected. After using it for some time and following the instructions, I did not notice any real difference in keeping animals away. I purchased it for dogs but the ultrasonic feature doesn’t seem effective. The build quality is okay, but overall it didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for. I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience.

Waste of money, this DOESN'T HELP WITH MY DOG PROBLEMS. IM VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Literally it was a surprise to see one of my Airbnb guests get freaked out when I played back surveillance videos of the yard. We were having a problem with feral cats and neighborhood cats out prowling at night so I thought I’d try these. Tracked the cats and animal in video and it worked with the cats for a few weeks but they seem to be getting used to them and not frightened as much anymore. However we had one Airbnb guest who jumped because of these and he was really startled and frustrated by the sound. He remarked about it and I worried it would affect people. His partner, however could not hear it. So I presume the sound is only really audible to some people. I’m not sure if I will keep these. I need to make sure I get something that will keep the cats away permanently.

Limited effect. May have some initial protection of yard but deer and cats get used to it and ignore it within months.

I've struggled with stray cats for years, they've destroyed my outdoor furniture, caused hell, and wake us up at night during their terror mating screams. I didn't know what to do. So I tried this, OMG! Why have I not bought it two years ago when my cushions were not used as a scratching pad.. it works, it works awesomely (if that's even a word).. it doesn't hurt the cats but as soon as the approach my sitting area, they get this sound that make them leave (not running but more like irritated with it). So Now, I've had it for 2 months and it trained the cats to avoid this house. Thank goodness! No more cats in my sitting area, no more cats screaming at night, seat cushions are still in good shape, and no paw prints on my car windshield every morning. So yes, it works. And it covers a decent area. You can turn it off when you want and no need to worry about charging it because it solar. And easy to clean too. Luv it.
