Is the stock cooler and all packaged items included or is this just the chip itself?

Of the 5000 series Ryzen processors, only the 5600X comes with a heatsink/cooler. Chip only on 5700X.

Made in China ??? I thought AMD/Ryzen was in Taiwan.

AMD sold it's back end testing and final assembly operation to a Chinese company in 2016. So technically the inside is made in Taiwan, but final testing and packing is in china (bc cheaper labor)

Will it work with asus prime x570? i looked the compatibility in pcpartpicker and it advised me i would need to update bios 4021... is it necessary?

I’m not sure with Asus Prime X570 but normally it’s okay. Update the BIOS if pcpartpicker tells you to update BIOS. Thank you
