working great with ro system
Using with a hole house reverse osmoses system , in water from well and out dirty water, takes a second to do the math in my head to figure out the clean water flow, they working great , zero tds, when water starts to flow they turn on and light up automatically. the back light stays on for enough time then turns off. haven't times how long its light stays on for , though at first few usages i kept checking and did have to use a flashlight to check after it was on for an hour

Works good
I purchased this to monitor the water usage in my RV and it seems to work great. I placed it in the line on the discharge side of my pump. I checked it for accuracy, and it appears to be good.

Inaccurate, and quit working after 7600gal/6 months
I bought this as an add-on to track the gallons that go through my filtration system. I tracked it on a sheet of paper next to the filers at non-consistent intervals. Four and a half months after installing, it read 7,000 gallons. Water usage has remained the same, however, 4 months later it had only increased by 600 gallons. I deliberately checked a week later and the number did not change. I reset the count, and ran the water, and it is no longer calculating. I understand you get what you pay for, but 6 months and 7,600 gallons doesn't seem like enough out of a $35 purchase. I'll be looking for a higher quality replacement.

A great monitor overall
I purchased 4 of these monitors to give a visual flow output of external canister filters on my 2 large aquariums and the work very well, one does seem to have a fairly higher reading than the other 3 by over 2 liters a minute (4x identical filters, make model media etc..) Only a few minor issues, battey life (with the supplied batteries) is poor, the option of an external power source for constant monitoring would be good. hopefully with longlife batteries from a well known brand they may last longer!! Screen is hard to read when installed in an aquarium cabinet, a backlight would be a huge improvement. Instructions don't tell you how to switch between Litres & gallons per minute, when you find out how to do it it is very simple and only a few lines of short instructions would need to be added to paperwork !! Overall a very good little unit for the money.

Not very accurate
I love the detached display but the accuracy is way off. The meter reads 2.85 gpm, a bucket test gives 4.87 gpm. Unfortunately there is no way to calibrate it.

Works well for my use
Bought it to monitor water consumption while boondocking in my RV. It has been just over a year, and many boondocking outings since purchase. Still has the same batteries. Seems to measure usage reasonably well. No complaints here.

Works well for a couple months
I have gone through three of these in all cases they work well for three or four months on my Reef aquarium. But the batteries die very quickly, and the connection tends to get corroded and not work after a while.
