Tetraclean AC Coil Cleaner

I recently used this alkaline-based AC coil cleaner and I’m very satisfied with its performance. The quality of the solution is excellent—it produces thick, active foam that effectively breaks down heavy dust, grease, and buildup on the coil.The concentration of the cleaner is strong, so even a small amount works efficiently, making the bottle last longer. Tried some spray foam cans which do nothing, I do know that you have to be very careful with chemical cleaners on evaporators and micro channel coils(car coils) I got this to clean my ac which has never had a proper coil clean in it’s 12 years use(we just clean the exterior with a brush)Spraying on a dry surface did not get much foaming, so wet the coil and there’s a lot of foam it did work to get the dirt out but the residue it leaves behind is a pain to clean and you need to use a lot of water to rinse the coil. I guess this is lye as it left a powdery residue.Do not use a brush and brush while the cleaner is on I tried a small area on the corner and the fins just flaked off. I focused on doing small areas so that I could have the cleaner for under 2-4 minutes and start rinsing that portion and worked in sections to clean the entire ac.Air flow did increase a good amount and I saw a lot of dirt come out which was not visible.It did it’s job however I would not use this cleaner again just as a last resort.This cleaner does give out fumes and make sure to use gloves and if it gets on your skin then rinse it well.Try not to spray the cleaner on the copper bends just on the fins don’t try to get shiny clean just clean whatever dirt it can in 5 mins and rinse off.So far no damages leaving that small portion where I did try to brush.Do not use this on coils which have coating. And if there’s no airflow issues just use water to clean don’t use harsh cleanersFor car coils (evap and condenser) try to find a cleaner that’s micro channel safe or an evaporator enzymatic cleaner. Or try their natural ph cleaner(green)

Used this coil cleaner once on my AC outdoor unit and here’s my honest experience.The product does a really good job at removing dirt, dust, and grime from the fins. You can actually see the coil looking much cleaner after use, and airflow seems improved.One thing to note the blue coating on my AC fins looked slightly lighter after cleaning. It didn’t damage anything, but it seems the cleaner is quite strong and may slightly dull the coating if used aggressively.

Nice product and very useful in cleaning AC condenser coil

Was fooled into buying this by a couple of youtube videos. This Tetraclean Alkaline stuff DOES NOT FOAM AS SOME YOUTUBE VIDEOS SHOW. NO CLEANING ACTION EITHER. Went to a nearby gujri shop and tried it on a discarded split AC unit. Nothing happens. The bottled was half empty when delivered and came in a battered pack. Would not advise anyone to buy this product. Pure cheating!

Does it's job well. But it is better to dilute with two parts of water and one part Tetraclean otherwise it can really burn the coils/fins on the radioators/condensers and damage the equipment permanently. But also should be priced around Rs 250/-. Buying in pairs or three or four bottles together should be offered with bigger discounts. In local market, such coil cleaners are available at much much cheaper rates.
