Neoteck 3 in 1 Thermometer Hygrometer with Clock Large LCD Display, Digital Humidity Temperature Meter 1.5m Sensor Wire for Indoor Outdoor Use

I think the title says it all. This thermometer is absolutely great, works perfect and very exact, does what it needs to do and the numbers can easily be read without having to put my glasses on. I took the one with the cable to the outdoor sensor on purpose, because I don't want to have to change batteries all the time and my last one literally worked for over 10 years on only 2 batteries. So I am hoping I get a similar performance out of this one. I love it after 3 weeks of use and I can only recommend it. Anyone who says they do not work, should just read the instruction. It is very easy to adjust and setup. Great product.

Originally I gave this 1 star, because on arrival to my house and after inserting the battery, it DID NOT WORK. I thought maybe the battery they included was dead, so I tried one of mine and still didn't work. I had bought one of these from the same company a couple years ago and it works great, easy read and very accurate. So I was really pissed and started a return through Amazon. In disgust, I just threw on the floor, I was thinking in the back of my mind, that should get it working.....and sure enough, it did! Now it is working perfectly and as it should....I don't recommend throwing it on the ground, it was probably just a fluke...but now I am no longer upset....it's just too bad it didn't work initially. But still a great product when it is working. I recommend this.

The outdoor temperature probe appears to produce temperature measurements that are about 3.5 °F too high in the range of 80 to 110 °F. (I have not yet studied other temperature ranges, so I cannot judge accuracy in the unit's entire operating range for outdoor temperature of -40 to 158 °F.) The error seems to be a constant 3.5 °F in the 80 to 110 °F range, so it is easily reconciled. 2. The 1.5 meter (4.9 feet) wire for the outdoor probe is relatively short compared to wires on similar units made by other manufacturers, which typically have a wire 6 feet long. I would have been happier with a wire that is at least 6 feet (or 2 meters) long, but I can make do with the existing wire. 3. As an electrical engineer, I am concerned that one AAA battery will provide relatively short life when powering this unit's large (and very legible) display that is energized at all times. I would be more confident with an AA battery as the power source. The instrument case is large enough to contain an AA battery, so Neoteck would only need to enlarge the internal battery compartment to accommodate an AA battery instead of the supplied AAA battery. Because I have not had the unit long enough to exhaust the AAA battery, my concern about longevity may or may not be valid. Despite the above three relatively minor disappointments, I am overall satisfied with the unit, thank you. I especially appreciate how quickly the outdoor-temperature display reacts to rapid changes in water temperature.

Very easy set up and quite an accurate thermometer inside and out! We use this on our back porch to put out the window!

I needed an outside thermometer that could be read inside but I could not use the wireless ones. It took me a moment to find something that would have large nice display with easily readable numbers from distance and that would have a cable that could read the temp and humidity and transfer info to the unit inside. This device is just perfect for this purpose. I was bit concerned if if I can just put the cable end outside of the window and just close the window while the little cable is in the way of the frame. It closed watthour any problem because it is tinny it kind of molded to the closed window but this does not affect the reading in any way. It also did not hurt the window frame by no means. I tis almost as you would place a paper and closed the window, zero problems. The display is really nice. The buttons are simple and do not require taking separate college class to operate it like some of those devices come to being so user unfriendly and unintuitive. This unit is SUPER INTUITIVE! VERY EASY TO Read. I have it sitting on a window frame on the inside and now the guesswork is entirely gone. I always know what humidity and temperature is outside MY HOME as opposed the general weather forecast that shows temps often by few degrees off simply because the air can stay in pockets in different areas causing temperatures to vary greatly. It is great to be able to know at the glance what is the temp outside without wasting time to check any other devices. I like it a lot and I already ordered two more for other areas of the house as the temp are different on the sunny side and different on the shadowy side and that also is important while opening windows to air the house so I don't cool down or heat up the interior for no apparent reason. Overall: VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

Funciona bien para medir sin ser muy precisos. La patita de atrás que se usa como soporte se rompe apenas y lo muevas tantito así que hay que manejarlo con cuidado. También para los que necesitan medir temperaturas mayores a 65c el sensor externo (el de cable), solo llega hasta los 60c y si pasas los 65c corres riesgo de que se derrita el cable y descomponerlo.
