Curry Powder Hot

Very good product and versatile as not incredibly hot but a well balanced flavour.

This curry powder is supposed to be medium hot but is in fact quite mild you can pep it up with one or two chilis but it seems to be best with sunflower oil and low taste meats like chicken rather than lamb. I may try a Sachet mix next time but keep the plastic Jar which is easy to open and lightweight.

Makes a really nice curry although would descride as medium rather than hot. Will definatly buy again.

Usually purchase fernes hot paste or pataks kashmiri paste, but have been told to cut down on my salt intake. This hot Rani curry powder fits the bill perfectly. It has a lot more spices than many other powders and no salt. I have tried it on it's own and used it as a base for my curries. Also mixed it with the pastes mentioned above to lessen the average salt content. Best of all it tastes great to my buds.

Utterly fantastic . Dont need so many individual jars of spices any more ! Superb flavour for many dishes .

This is the first time I ordered from Rani. It definitely won't be the last. Their packaging already speaks volumes, first a strong vacuum sealed clear bag, placed into a second vacuum sealed protective bag - this curry would survive the sinking of the Titanic. The product itself is everything I wanted, authentic aroma and flavour, plenty of heat but not numbing. I have been hunting for a good curry powder literally for years as in Canada apparently even "hot" currys are just sawdust, never thought I would find the right stuff here on Amazon. Unless you make your own from scratch, I don't think you could find any objections againt this one. As for the price, I think 14 CAD for a 400 gram pack is more than reasonable. And I got the product in 3 days!

Good fresh flavor. Just enough heat to tickle and excite the pallette.

This curry powder produces a delicious flavourful curry. It IS quite hot, so if that isn't your thing, probably worth trying one of the more mild variants from this company.

The order was good, the product is awesome, and I love the flavor. But the driver tossed the package at the door hard enough to hear it impact. This caused a dent in one corner of the package. It did not open the container, but it was irritating because I'm sure if he'd have just dropped it down it would not have damaged the packaging.
