Mojotone Black Tolex 54" Wide

I used this on a homemade speaker cabinet for my Katana head. Wasn’t a perfect match, but from 10 feet away good enough. I used 3M 90 adhesive spray to glue it. Worked out very well.

Description says that if you order more than one piece, they will be one piece but only longer. Not true. I ordered 2 so I expected to get 2 yards of material. Nope. 2 pieces. 1 yard each…. Returned it.

Took one star off for packaging - came in a huge box folded - this creased the fabric. Tolex usually comes rolled in a tube to limit creasing. The box it came in could have held a widescreen TV very wasteful. The tolex itself is exactly what I was hoping for, thin with no padding. I'm sure it will serve its purpose. Great product - hopefully a heat gun will take those creases out?

Mojotone never lets me down. Bought three yards of this delightful tolex. Good material recovered my 1977 Fender Twin easily.

The tolex product itself is probably fine and of similar quality as other brands I’ve used. I’ll update this review if that’s not the case. My complaint is with the shipping. As a prime member I cannot get free two day shipping with this product. Not only does shipping take far longer than typical prime shipping, I have to pay for the shipping. Paying for an inferior shipping experience is not what I became a prime member for. Now I realize prime is not available for all items, sadly this is one of those items.
