Great for work boots. I have only used on real leather boots, works as advertised!

Minkoil
This minkoil is for boots and leather stuff to protect it from weather and to keep it from cracking and drying out, but I have some leather elephants at my home for decoration that are really big and I use mine for whopping them down to keep the leather from cracking and drawn out This stuff is amazing so if you have any leather that you don’t want to crack, you need to buy this and it comes with a good bit for the price.

Back to original color and condition
I was nervous about all these different oils, pastes and conditioners on the market, mostly for discoloration reasons. These are Keen Utility Philadelphia leather work boots and I love them very much so I didn't want to ruin them while trying to maintain them. I settled on this Jobsite mink oil because I needed something that would re-hydrate and waterproof my boots before they start cracking. Granted I actually liked the distressed lighter brown color they became but it is not good for longevity. This paste absorbed right into the leather and thankfully it brought it right back to its original color (i have another brand new pair for reference). I used horse hair brushes to clean the heavy dirt then a small horsehair brush with saddle soap to clean. Let thoroughly dry overnight then apply the conditioner with a microfiber. Let sit a few minutes then used the dry brush to even out the color and fix the scuffs. Very happy so far. This was the first wax since new about a year old. Will be doing more often now.

What a great product - easy on and works perfect !!!
I applied this to an old pair of Keen boots that are my favorite. They looked kind of dingy. I just used my hands to apply and good coat of this Mink Oil. The result was spectacular. Completely waterproof and it turned the leather a little dark. The boots look almost new. I took a walk in a rain storm and water just ran off the boots like a Mink in the water. All around great stuff. 10 stars.

Bought to waterproof boots. Went on easily and seems to have greatly improved the suppleness of the leather.
