If you're looking to supplement your IELTS prep, this guide is a fantastic choice. I particularly appreciated the Band 8.0–8.5 writing samples, which show exactly what the examiners are looking for. Another huge plus is the audio format; each listening test is presented as one continuous file. This is far less disruptive than the sectioned audio found in other books and really helps with focus during mock exams.

While most IELTS practice test books are overpriced, most students will be able to afford books. And as an added bonus, the author sends more material once the book is purchased making this purchase quite a bargain. I purchased the Kindle version. I received the book instantaneously on the kindle app on my tablet. All the supplementary audio is conveniently located in the exact sections of the book. All you need to do is click on the link and the audio plays. Or, you can download the material to listen off line if that is your preference. Extra material that was helpful was an example speaking test for each practice test with commentary and grading. Also provided was a sample/ model writing response to both tasks from each writing section. Although no grades were provided for these model essays, it is inferred that they are high passing grades. Don't waste your money on expensive practice test books!!

Helpful practice tests! 5 as advertised. Just be careful to choose the edition that you need (either general or academic). I accidentally bought the academic, but it's still been helpful for providing familiarity with the test format and types of questions involved. Definitely recommend as a resource.

As an ESL learner, I am looking for some books to improve my English skills. I found this book on Amazon a few weeks ago. The reading passages are at an advanced level with good contexts about social study and science. They are actually little difficult for me, but I got it after seeing the answers. The writing section is great with clear evidence, connection, and organization. I would like to buy more books to practice and recommend the book to other students. Thank you so much to the author!

A good choice for IELTS teachers and students. The 5 full tests give lots of realistic practice, giving students a good idea of what the exam will be like and helping them to prepare for it.

I find this book very useful especially tbe practice sets . You can actually measure your progress from one set to another .The answers also help in that regard its thw best so far for me .
