Great Bible tabs
I use these on my Bible and they work great. They are small which wonโt take up so much space. They are silver tabs which are pretty. The font is okay and easy to read. They are easy to install and the guide helps a lot. The material is nice auto the touch. The thickness isnโt that bad, I did rip a couple but once I got the hang of it, I loved them and will buy again.

Loved how small and classic they were. Easy assembly.
Worked great. I loved how small and intrusive they were. I added some space between each book (1/2 a tab) and it made it a lot easier to turn the pages.

Finally! Help in Finding the Books of the Bible!
OK! Sure I "knew" all the books of the Bible and in proper sequence, .... back in 4th grade Sunday school class, and only because I wanted to get that nice new personalized Bible of my own. But today, when it really means something to be able to quickly get to the verse being studied when cited? It ain't happening for me. Heck, half the time I can't remember if the book they're talking about is in the old or new testament. Now that is really sad, don't you think? Very recently I found a new version of the Bible called the New Living Translation and what shocked the daylights out of me, I could understand what I was reading. "AMAZING!" Long story short, I purchased a new NLT large print Bible I felt would best suit my needs. Of course I bought it from Amazon.com the best place to find what you need at the best prices and quick delivery should you have the Prime Program. The Bible arrived in two days as promised and I opened it all excited only to be immediately struck with that deep down gut feeling of fear. There was no way to identify the books of the Bible or their location. I totally freaked because I've learned over the years I MUST HAVE "cheater tabs" to survive. I found exactly what I was looking for here, ordered them and received them very quickly. I'd read all the reviews so I now knew the easy part was over and the hard part only just beginning. I had read it might take from 45 minutes to a couple of hours to attached the indexed books of the Bible tabs and then there were all kinds of, " be careful of this and be careful of that" in the instructions. Well, I read the instructions a few times, combined that with the knowledge learned from the reviews, organized everything and started off. I am very happy to report everything went very well, no mistakes and I finished the job in about 2 hours. These tabs are great because they are very easy to read, very durable in design, attractively styled with black print and gold trim and permanently attach to the page. The good news they included a wonderful template to use in laying out all of the tabs cutting down on the work and time immensely. For the price and time investment I know I will get many years of quality service out of this product and beyond what I had anticipated. I am still relearning which books are new and old testament but man, is it a lot of fun now. I no longer get that gut panicked feeling when I have to find a verse quickly to keep up. Before, I would still be looking for the book of the Bible while everyone else had already finished and moved on. Not any more. Take all of that pressure off of yourself and invest in these Bible Tabs with Clear Tab Gold Center Strip & Black Lettering, which is easy to read. An investment which will return a great value for many years to come. Yes, I highly recommend this product especially after grossly under estimating how something so simple solves such a distressing problem.

Easier to Apply Than I Thought!
I never thought tabs on my Bibles were necessary. But, when I saw some on a woman's Bible at church, I had to admit that I liked the look. And I have a new, no frills Message Bible. It includes the deuterocanonical books, which I can't find as easily as the others. Tabs make sense in this case. Since it was the first time I ever stuck tabs into a Bible, my tabs aren't perfectly placed, but the guide and clear instructions kept me from botching the task altogether. It actually looks good! Even an amateur with fumble thumbs managed to pull it off.

Great Tabs! Watch video for my critiques and pointers!
Great Tabs! Watch video for my critiques and pointers! Always put the tabs on the right side, even if the book starts on the left side. This is because youโre not supposed to open the book by pulling the tab, because it could tear the delicate Bible pages. Youโre supposed to put your thumb or finger in front of the tab to open it. This way, it opens to the first page of the Bible book regardless of whether the book begins on the left side or the right side. Be sure the tabs arenโt placed too far down. They should be flush with the edge of the page. You want to be able to cut them off (if ever needed) without damaging the pages. Use a colored sheet of paper to put behind the page youโre about to do so that you can better see where the page ends in order to put it flush with the edge of the page. (I actually like to leave a micro space under the tab just so that it can be cleanly cut off if ever neededโฆ and I do mean MICRO space.) Itโs better to have a little gap than to have it too far down on the page where it would have to be cut out, thereby damaging the page. Be sure you donโt have 2 pages stuck together before you put the tab on. Putting a colored sheet of paper behind the tab youโre about to do also helps with this. So the colored sheet of paper actually serves 2 purposesโฆ helping you see where the page ends AND you can double-check before putting the tab on that you only have 1 Bible page in front of your colored sheet of paper, preventing you from putting 2 pages in your tab. Please donโt do this yourself if you have trouble seeing or if youโre inebriated. Let someone else do it for you instead, because you donโt want to ruin a perfectly good Bible. You donโt want to randomly place the tabs in arbitrary places. This isnโt Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Create a neat pattern or use the tab positioning guide. I cover more in the video. In the video, I talk about small spaces 3 times, but Iโm referring to 3 different things: (1) For the Mini tabs, I talk about how I recommend putting a small space in between the Mini tabs (to the left and right of the tabs) when placing them so the tabs donโt get hung up on one another, especially in the New Testament where the books are shorter so the tab rows are lot closer to one another. (This doesnโt seem to be a problem with the large tabs.) (2) For BOTH tabs (the Mini and the Large tabs), I talk about how you want to make the tabs flush to the page and not put them below the page line. And in the video, I meant to mention that I even recommend leaving a teny tiny space under the tab (in between the bottom of the white part of the tab and the edge of the page) so that you can cleanly cut off the tab if ever needed โ without damaging the pages. And I mean a space so SMALL that itโs not even noticeable. (Do not try the tricks you read online to remove themโฆ like ironing them off, etc. That only works on the new-style tabs that are becoming popular todayโฆ which I donโt like. Youโll ruin your Bible if you try that with these. In my opinion, these are better.) (3) For the Large tabs, I talk about how thereโs a little space on the tab where the words are printed. Theyโre not perfectly centered, but thereโs a reason for this. I explain which side the extra space should go on and why itโs there. It has to do with the overlap when placing the tabs. (This doesnโt apply to the Mini tabs.) Everything above will make sense if you watch the whole video. These are my favorite tabs! I highly recommend them! Theyโre MUCH better than the new stuff that other brands are coming out with today. The traditional, classic gold-edged tabs (the non-Catholic ones) are the way to go! (FYI - the Catholic ones have a โshrink-to-fitโ font that Iโm not crazy about, but I donโt need the Catholic ones anyway, so I ordered the non-Catholic ones.) To the Tabbies Company: Please make both sides of the 1โ tabs with the words flush right so that the overlap covers the space on both sides (from the front of the Bible and the back of the Bible). Currently, theyโre mirror image so one side is wrong. If both sides were flush right, Iโd give 5 stars! Thank you! =)

Beautiful but tedious to attach.
I bought these tabbies because I didnโt want them to stick out of my Bible and these DO NOT they are so small. Applying them is the only drawback to buying them. My husband has had to help me put them on. I doubt I could do it alone. Expect it to take you a long time to attach them and be very careful that you attach to only one page each time. They will not come off if you grab more than one page the first time. Of the fifteen we did last night two are not โperfectโ because I did not fold them in the right place. Even though Iโm OCD thatโs okay. Whatโs done is done. Itโs only two so far, with many more pages to go. All of that said, they are exactly what I wanted. I like them enough to laboriously put them on regardless how long it takes. I have never used tabs but I just bought a very thick wide margin Bible, and intend on teaching with it, (my old Bible is practically unreadable due to notes and underlining Iโve done) and am unfamiliar with this Bible now. I need to find passages quickly which would be harder than itโs ever been. The thickness is why Iโm doing this. They are beautiful with the gold edges and would probably go with any color Bible. My Bible is brown with cream pages and I had my name engraved locally in gold. Buy them but expect them to take a LONG time to attach. Oh! The alignment guide comes with them too, which makes where to apply each one simpler than it would be without it. It took us awhile to get the hang of it but we did. Buy them but expect attaching them to be very tedious. You may need another set of hands too. Yes. I would buy them again. They do exactly what I wanted and look great! They are durable, readable and of great quality.

Perfect for catholic bibles
So amazing i had to buy them twice. Perfect size and super durable. They are also SUPER DUPER sticky. It was hard to out them on and align them just right because of that but they look really nice. The spacing is nice and they have them for all the books!

An excellent addition to your bible.
Very happy with my colour coded taggies. I can now quickly find the book I'm looking for, without looking up the index. Easy to apply although be prepared to set aside a few hours to attach them neatly! Highly recommended. Incidentally, the book of Sirach is in my Jerusalem Bible as Ecclesiasticus. There was only a taggie for Sirach, not both. I used a small label to ammend it.

Fiddly but worth it
A bit fiddly to apply but well worth the effort. Looks great and makes finding the more obscure books easier.
