As babies feed themselves, they explore a variety of aromas, shapes, and colors while developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and healthy eating habits. Review: Great for family friendly meals - I got so many go-to recipes from this book. I read a lot of mixed reviews and I’m not really sure why. The recipes are all great. My husband and I both enjoy them so even if our toddler decides not to eat, the meal doesn’t go to waste. This book makes it feel so easy getting back into cooking after postpartum and then starting work again. I love the options to make a recipe from scratch or incorporate store bought items. And they are all pretty healthy. I even got another copy to give to my friend. Review: Not Just For Littles - I'm amid thirties single busy professional who grew up in a home where we ate out a lot so I don't have a ton of experience cooking week night dinners were throwing together fast meals that are healthy nourishing and delicious. Enter the feeding littles and beyond cookbook - It is full of not just tasty healthy recipes but strategies to make cooking and managing your kitchen easier. I just skipped over the baby lead weaning and child stuff and went straight to Easy Go-Tos, designed to build your repertoire of easy options. My one gripe is that there are not nutrition facts for each recipe. This book is truly empowering for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with the day to day cooking

Approachable, accessible, and allergy-friendly!
I've followed Feeding Littles on Instagram for a year and a half, since my younger son started solids. Their approach to feeding kids, providing exposure to new foods in an approachable and low-pressure way and focus on family meals everyone can enjoy together really resonated with me - and I have always been pleased to see the realness of incorporating partially-prepared foods and making easy meals during the week. I pre-ordered the cookbook with those things in mind. My older son was diagnosed with celiac disease last week - after I ordered the cookbook. I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to use it. When it finally arrived I was so thrilled - and in fact, moved to tears - to see recipe after recipe naturally gluten-free or with easy wheat-free swaps included in the notes. This is going to be game-changing for me and my family as we navigate our new reality - real food, quick and simple preparation, highly nutritious and safe for my son. It's a great cookbook and I highly recommend it.

Great variety, toddler approved meals
We are a Feeding Littles family. So when I learned of the book, we naturally had to order it. Cookbooks can go one of two directions for us: a hit or a flop. This one has been a hit! Many of the basics and guidelines from the courses are in the beginning of the book, and the recipes in the back truly go hand in hand with their feeding philosophy. We have had 6 or 7 recipes at this point with plans for many more. Every one chosen has been a hit with our family. The toddler has even enjoyed them! I love that our toddler is getting exposed to a variety of healthy and nutritious recipes. It has taken care of a lot of the meal planning for me currently, and my husband has requested some of the meals again. Oh, and I love the picture glossary at the end of how to present the meals for infants and toddlers. That has been a big blessing when plating our toddlers dinner. Again a BIG HOMERUN for our family!

A Must For Your BLW Adventure!
I was recently recommended to follow @feedinglittles on Instagram by a dear friend of 25 years. We grew up together & now we’re raising babies together! She’s a mama of 3 and also a Rock -Star Nurse Practitioner not to mention her dad was my pediatrician. So naturally, I pick her brain about everything! Since following FL online, I’ve learned so about BLW do’s and don’ts. This account has helped me gain confidence as I start out on this journey with my first born who is currently 4 months. When I learned they had a cook book coming out, I quickly preordered it without any hesitation. When it arrived in the mail I was really impressed by the quality and presentation! It has beautiful and helpful pictures along with easy and simple directions to follow. I also really appreciate all the extra tips along the way to make your dinner a success for the busiest of mamas. There is also a lot of good education on BLW and safety knowledge. Most recipes only take about 20 min which is the perfect amount of time I have for putting a meal on the table for baby and the rest of the family. This cookbook was thoughtfully put together by some amazing professionals who you can trust and it truly shows!

A Great Resource for Parents Interested in Baby-led Weaning
Feeding Littles and Beyond is a cookbook written by Megan McNamee and Judy Delaware. It is designed for parents who are interested in baby-led weaning, a method of introducing solid foods to babies by letting them feed themselves. The book includes 100 recipes that are specifically designed for baby-led weaning, as well as tips and advice for parents who are new to this feeding method. The recipes are organized into different categories, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, making it easy for parents to plan meals for their families. One of the standout features of this cookbook is that the recipes are designed to be enjoyed by the whole family, not just babies. The authors understand that cooking separate meals for adults and children can be time-consuming and frustrating, so they have created recipes that are suitable for everyone. The recipes themselves are easy to follow and include a list of ingredients and step-by-step instructions. Many of the recipes also include variations and substitutions, making it easy for parents to customize the recipes to their own tastes and preferences. The recipes are easy to follow and produce delicious, nutritious meals that are enjoyed by the whole family. The book includes helpful tips and advice for parents who are new to baby-led weaning. However, the book may not be suitable for families with certain dietary restrictions, such as those who follow a vegan or gluten-free diet. Additionally, some recipes may not be suitable for babies who have certain food allergies or sensitivities.

An amazing tool for baby led weaning
This cookbook is a huge hit with my family! My baby has loved almost every single thing I have made. My 5 year old loves the recipes too and has gotten less picky about her eating. The recipes are perfect for babies and grown ups alike. I’m so glad I made this purchase and highly recommend it. The ingredients are easy to find and it gives good tips on how to adapt the recipes for dietary needs, lack of time, etc.

Good cookbook…but could have been great!
I love Feeding Littles and their online content in the courses and on Instagram. One of the things I love about them is how simple their approach is to feeding kids. If you’re just starting your BLW journey, this book has tons of great info to answer your questions and give you confidence. I preordered the book and my daughter was no longer a new eater when I got it, so I haven’t utilized those parts of the book as much. Some of the recipes in this cookbook have been awesome additions to the dinner rotation: we love the eggplant Parmesan, bbq chicken baked bean bowls, refried bean flatbreads, zucchini lamb meatballs, and some others. However, because the book was co-written with a mostly vegetarian author, a LOT of the recipes have a vegetarian/vegan lean, like nut milk substitutes for milk or cheeseless pasta meant to taste cheesy. This is great if you are vegetarian, vegan, or have other considerations in your family like lactose intolerance, but is not what I thought I was getting in the Feeding Littles cookbook, based on what I see from their social media and courses. Don’t get me wrong—not all the recipes are like this, and many are quite simple and very accessible. But overall, the vibe just feels a little more “health food” focused than FL’s intuitive eating approach. But the real thing I dislike about this cookbook is the way it is organized with no table of contents. It is maddening. The only table of contents (not until page 35) lists the names of the chapters, like “easy go-tos” and “baked bites and snacks,” but there is no table of contents that lists each recipe. Not a big one at the front and not a small one at the start of each chapter. Which means you have to flip through half the book to pick out a new recipe for dinner, every time. If you have one you know you liked, you can find it in the index, but discovering new recipes is very time consuming and now that I have a few I know we like, I honestly don’t often look for more because I don't feel like doing so much flipping. I want to turn to the table of contents, see a list of recipes and pick one that sounds good for my family. I don’t know how it escaped the editing process with this giant flaw, because I’ve never seen another cookbook designed like this. Megan and Judy, if you ever write another, I will buy it and I hope that you take this into account!!

Endlich was für die ganze Familie/For the whole family
If you’re looking for BLW inspiration that can be integrated in everyday family life- this is your book. I follow Ali for a while and she never disappoints. This one comes with a guide to BLW and will help your baby to experience a variety of foods to learn to love eating. Thank you for that. There are variations and I love the „I can’t even“ tips for days that are just too much to handle.

Allergy friendly, simple ingredients!
This book is great for starting out feeding and has clear simple pictures on how to serve babies safely. So many recipes for toddlers that use real ingredients and are vegan or allergy friendly. I am beyond impressed with this book and is a must have for any parent. If you like the feeding littles Instagram account, you will love this book!

Much much better than I expected
It is really good, ingrediants you can find in local shop, nothing extravagant. Lot of things can be premade and ingredients can be easily replaced if you don't like something. I saw in reviews down side of the cookbook is that there are no pictures of all recipes, It is not problem at all and for me it does not make any difference.

Gutes buch, einfache rezepte, viele tipps
