The tape sealed the door way (top and sides). When the windows are closed there's a gap that needed to be sealed. The tape is pliable and soft enough to allow the window to close completely. The condensation and damp walls in my home office are no longer a problem and it should help keep mold from growing. And it also minimizes the noise when doors slam shut. Thanks!!
