Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess [DVD] by Jamie Mitchell

About an hour long film about sofia. If you let it run on its own it plays the film and extras without you needing to do anything.The film is about how sofia became a princess, and manages to squeeze in a moral or 2.Very girly DVD, probably suitable for ages 3-6. You don't need to know who she is to enjoy the film.

This was a gift for our daughter who loves everything to do with Princesses. Our daughter loves the addition of Sophia to theprincess collection she has. The dvd is very good and tells the story of a little girl who becomes a princess and has to accept hernew life. Recommended for any young girl who loves her princesses.

My 2 and half yr old daughter loves this DVD. She watches the programme on television too. This DVD lasts around 50mins which is ideal for her age. She sings along to all the songs and is a great princess for younger girls to get into. There are also minnie mouse episodes and a sing along option (for when she is older). Great buy. It has been watched many times and is a definate favourite!

I love this particular Sofia dvd. It has a lovely story and there is always a moral to the story. One episode is the right length for a treat, this is the first episode or movie and tells the story of how Sofia became a princess! I enjoyed a rainy afternoon on the couch with my toddler and this!

I bought this DVD for my 20 month grand-daughter for going on holiday to play during the flight and I thought that it would amuse for a limited period of time. She absolutely loves it and watched for the full forty plus minutes. I am not a great believer of young children watching too much on TV or DVD but she watched this transfixed. Good price certainly value for money.

Not seen the series so don't know how true this is to it but my 4year old daughter loves this film. It's 45 mins long which is good for a young kids' attention span. Also nice that it is about a young girl princess (her mum marries the long making her a princess over night), so not a sexualised find me a prince type princess. Also not too scary - the villain doesn't scare my daughter the way other film baddies do. And a nice moral ending about step brothers and sisters learning to get along. Also has a cameo appearance from Cinderella which delights my daughter. And several Minnie Mouse episodes as bonus features which go down well with my kids.

I bought this DVD for my daughter who loves Sofia the first because I thought this first episode was only available on DVD, the very week after I bought it the Disney channel aired it and since then have aired it at least three times a week every week so the DVD is a bit redundant. I regret buying it purely because you can watch it for free on the Disney Channel. It is a good DVD though, no problems with the DVD, seller or the delivery.

Fantastic value. Speedy delivery. My 4 year old loves it she has seen it on disney channel and really wanted it on dvd so that's why we got it. She has watches it loads of times and never seems to tire of it. It is about a little girl whose mum marries a king and she becomes a princess. It is beautifully written and the cartoon is lovely to watch

meine 5jährige Tochter ist großer Fan von Sofia die Erste, sie hat sich riesig auf diese DVD gefreut! Und als Bonus dazu gibt es 5 kurze Mini-Maus-Episoden. Also für den Preis bekommt man schon was!

Todo perfecto. A pesar de ser la edición inglesa, detecta perfectamente en qué idioma está configurado el aparato y lo setea automáticamente, así que no hay que molestarse en elegir idioma. Incluye un capítulo largo (unos 50 minutos, no llega a ser película) y algunos más cortos (que no esperábamos). A las niñas les encanta :) Una compra 10 para el precio que tiene.El servicio de Amazon, impecable como siempre.
