Great For My Minivan!
Not sure why anyone would complain about this item. Yeah the lock is pretty worthless, but it's an awesome center console! Especially for the price. I wouldn't use the lock anyways since I lock my vehicle and would never leave anything of great value in my vehicle to start with. I highly recommend this item. Works perfect for my minivan!

Great Product, Would Buy Again
I bought this to fill the void left between the front seats of my old Crown Victoria police car. The gap makes a snug fit, so I didn't use any mounting hardware, and I don't think this console has moved an inch since I installed it. The cupholders work fine for your basic plastic water bottle, but they do not work for larger insulated bottles, as they just fall right out or don't fit to begin with from my experience. The locking compartment is an absolute joke, a determined 4 year old could open it, the platic wall is that flimsy. The compartment itself is very spacious, providing plenty of space for notebooks, gloves, pens, cool rocks, snack, and whatever else you want to fit in there. I've seen other find almost the same product in big box stores for half the price, but Amazon was the only place I could find it. Overall, very good product, especially at this price.

Works for my 2001 Toyota Highlander.
I bought my trusty '01 Highlander several years ago from an older couple looking to upgrade. It's been perfect for my needs, but this SUV had several issues that really irked me. One being the entire center console assembly had been removed previously, and in its place was the cheapest, crappiest little cupholder thing. This had been the bane of my existence for the entirety of my ownership of this automobile, lol. The cupholders SUCKED, my Yeti mug would constantly shift around as I drove, causing little spills all over the place that I constantly had to clean up. It sat really low between the seats and was a pain to reach for as I drove, without having to look down. I had been looking for a center console replacement, but man those things are hard to find. Even used ones pulled from the junk yard were selling for several hundred, and that's without all the proper mounting hardware. And if you wanted to get a factory new one? Pffft...yeah you're spending at least $500 freaking dollars and would need to buy several parts and hardware separately. So, I continued to suffer. This most recent period of renewed frustration and determination to find something, anything, better than the current situation led me to this item. I took some measurements, the opening between my two front seats being around a half an inch smaller than the item's width. I figured this seems to be relatively thin plastic, so it will have some flex to it, and I decided to give it a shot. The result? OMG I have a real cupholder now that holds my Yeti snugly, is raised up high enough to be a comfortable reach while driving and looks SO much better than the brown-stained carpet surrounding the pathetic little $5 nightmare that I had dealt with for so long! This console fit between the seats just snugly enough that I didn't have to worry about it shifting during normal driving. That half an inch disparity in the dimensions of the console and the space available did cause minor flexing of the frame, so opening and closing the security lid is a bit rough, but I don't plan to store any valuables in there long-term. Fun fact though, a locked container needs provable legal cause to open by any law-enforcement during a traffic stop, regardless of how secure it actually is, which may prove valuable someday. I bought some basic soft plastic closet shims from my local plumbing supply store and squeezed them in at four points where the console rests against the plastic frame of the front seats, and now she's very secure, I can't even make it slide by hand anymore. All in all, I'm so happy that I don't have to look at that eyesore of a cupholder anymore and can actually sit my coffee-filled Yeti in the cupholder with no worries.

Perfect for the price. Don't expect security from locking drawer.
Great, inexpensive addition for between the middle row seats in our Toyota Sienna minivan, especially considering alternatives on Amazon are $100+. Provides much more convenient cup holders for the kids, and space to store phones and tablets. The "locking" compartment is a joke, if you are looking for a way to secure valuables. Though it looks nice, it is very lightweight and cheaply made--but, of course, that's exactly what you want in an accident or sudden stop! It comes with two long screws with which you are instructed to SCREW THIS DOWN INTO THE FLOOR OF YOUR CAR. Yeah, that's not happening. I wish there were perhaps a strap or some other method to better secure it. But in a few months of driving I have not found that it moves at all during ordinary driving. Good value, does what we wanted.

Overpriced, flimsy but nicely designed
This center floor console is adequate for the slightly higher end price for what it is. Personally I feel a price range of $25 would be more in line. First the pros. I'm happy about the extra storage space including a large center box with a sliding top cover. There are also a couple of smaller open space compartments good for pens, sunglasses, cellphone etc at each end of the unit. The 4 cup holders (2 on each end) are appreciated especially for the second row passengers. The unit sits between captains chairs nicely still leaving floor space and ease of fastening seat belts. On to the cons. It is quite flimsy and has a cheapness which lends into its lack of sturdiness and quality. The locking top slide panel is a joke so I would not place any faith in the security as it is easily breached. If any spills or clean up are needed the unit can be emptied and hosed off and it's good to go but the overall durability is lacking. I'm keeping mine and time will tell for how long mainly due to my interior color being tan and I purchased the all black color and I will see how much convinence is offered in return. I would be in love with this console if it were tan and a whole lot more solid build to it. I can line the compartments with felt to dampen sound and rattling movements or mask it off and spray it with a rubberized coating making it the tan color I want and eliminate noise however that is very time consuming to do the job right and costly (probably another $12). All in all I give it a very generous 3 stars.

Perfect!
Very pleased with this item. Seems to be very sturdy and fit between my seats well!

It might just be good enough if it doesn't arrive broken.
The idea was fantastic. Cupholders and console storage where once there were none. This item would have done that albeit in the cheesiest, cheapest looking way possible. Under the right circumstances this console could be exactly what you need. It could be just good enough, and I mean only just. Unfortunately this console showed up much like the hopes and dreams of my childhood. Broken and smashed. Poor packaging and unquestionably bad build quality have conspired to delay gratification until Amazon can send me a replacement. I hope the delivery drivers have their kid gloves on that day as from the build quality it seems like a sideways glance might unwhole the replacement as well. I could probably glue this one together and use it if the top part wasn't smashed in. Even that wouldn't take away its functionality, but I paid sixty bucks for this thing and I want one that is not yet damaged. It is definitely overpriced for what it is. I feel like they could sell this for about $20 or maybe $30 and it would be fair enough. $60 for a ten dollar piece of plastic garbage is way too much.

Color and Fit for 2020 Toyota Sienna
We have a base model Sienna with gray interior that did not include a console. This console looks like it came with the car. I have heard the lock for the sliding cover to the storage area was not strong or secure. I did not care. It slides easy and has a spacious area. I do not plan to use the lock. The console comes with screws that you are supposed to screw into the minivan floor through the carpet. My wife did not want me to take a chance on hitting something under the floor, so I cut a board that was a little shy of an inch thick and cut it to match the retangular shape of the bottom of the main storage department. I noticed that the space from the bottom of the storage area to the carpet was right at 1 inch when the console is sitting on the floor. I attached the console to the board by using four screws. I screwed them from inside the storage area into the wood that was underneath. I then put four 10-15lb. Velcro strips along the bottom of the wood that I had screwed to the bottom of the console. I then removed the adhesive from the velcro strips so that when I placed the console down own the carpet and pressed down, it would be sure to adhere to the carpet. Before adding velcro strips, I had positioned the console on the floor where I wanted it and put blue painters tape on the carpet around the base of the console to make sure I new exactly where I wanted to stick the console to the carpet. I knew I would not be able to move it once I stuck it to the carpet. Once installed, the console will not slide. You can move the top of the console a little side to side because the carpet does not appear to be glued to the minivans metal floor. This should work perfect for me. I am sure that screwing it down to the floor would probably be even better as long as you use screws that hold firm. Note that the reason the velcro worked was my board was just thick enough to leave space for the velcro strips. If the board had been too thin, the velcro would not touch the carpet. If the board was too thick, the bottom edges of the console may show a slight gap.

Not great quality.
I think it will be fine but the top section has come loose and requires glueing to keep it attached.

Absolute perfect fit in the 2022 Ford Transit Custom Sport
Absolutely stoked with this Console, it's an absolutely perfect fit and it's really well-made. I cut out a couple of notches at the front so it sits flat on the floor which works really well because this also stops the console from moving and it looks really nice and is very stylish. I really like how it's the exact width I needed, and I can still get my hand in to work the handbrake as well, without even touching the console, very very happy with this and exactly what I was looking for. Absolute perfect fit! Great to have cup holders in the back too now!
