I bought this for my 11 year old son. He had an old smaller one that he was using. This one bounces much better than the old one. It did take a brief time to get used to the stronger spring, but it works well.

Is it worth the price

Hi, I think I paid $58 and it was worth it. Reviews on other models said either the materials were inferior and/or the weight rating wasn't accurate. Also, this pogo's design has no flange (up around the thigh area) that rakes the inner sides of your legs. The spring is completely concealed (which also keeps any dirt or anything from collecting in it). My granddaughter is 90 pounds and used it easily but she's a strong kid; it does take a little bit of strength.

Would it be good for a 70 pound kid

Yes perfect..both of my daughters were between 70-95 pounds and it worked well. The springs are very strong so have have and play safe

What is the maximum weight of a person using this pogo stick?

I remember using it when I was younger. I was around 100-110lbs and it would only max out if I pushed down really hard on it. At around 130lbs it will max out every time you try and jump.
