This foundation has always been great at coverage and color match. It can be added on in areas if needed without looking cakey.

Didn't blend well into my mature skin
After reading rave reviews and seeing influencers tout this foundation I gave it a try. Unfortunately it didn't blend well into my skin and noticeably sat there. I passed this on to my daughter, who is in her twenties with much younger skin than me and only occasionally wears foundation.

Authenticโฆbut consistency seems off.
I dropped 2 stars because of the consistency. It seems way too thin than the bottle I bought elsewhere that I still have. I do believe it is authentic, (and I have bought non-authentic La Mer products from other sellers on Amazon.) Iโll have to use twice as much b/c, unlike the one I have, it seems too watery of a consistency. Because it is so hard to find this discontinued product anymore, period, I am choosing to keep it. If I wasnโt discontinued, I would likely return this bottle.

Best foundation ive tried.
I have used Chanel, Armani, Clinicq, Bobbie Brown. Ive used many high end foundation. This product stays ON! At the end of a long day there is still product to remove! It covers, its smooth, try it. Too difficult to tell you all the benefits. Yes its expensive but its worth every drop.
