I like it because it is well made and it works. I needed something with holes for the eyes so I can work on my laptop. And I also needed some kind of small gel pad to put on just one eye after laser treatment. The round pads are especially useful if you've had a treatment in just one eye, and they are hard to find. If you put any kind of gel pad in the freezer it's going to get hard, too hard to conform to your face, and they can feel uncomfortable if they are too cold. You need just the right amount of cold that doesn't cause discomfort. So the thing to do is just put these in your fridge. They get plenty cold that way. So the package comes with one full eye mask and two round pads for individual eyes. The material that encloses the gel appears to be thick plastic, but supple when it's not frozen, with a nice soft cloth covering on one side. The elastic band with velcro is substantial and long enough to fit small or very large heads. If you put these in the freezer they will be too hard to use comfortably on your face, so put them in the fridge. Most fridges get fairly close to freezing temperatures without freezing. I'm emphasizing this because people on here have complained about it. If you put it in the fridge you will find that it gets close to freezing cold but is still pliable and doesn't cause discomfort. This is not a "beauty mask." It looks kind of plain, dark green, like some first aid kits and medical devices. But it is well made and it works. I use the round gel pads for just one eye that had laser treatment. I use an ordinary knitted sweatband to hold the cold gel pad over that one eye, with no problem. Just have to adjust the sweatband a little to accommodate the gel pad and the angle over your eye. And you get two of them, so you can swap them out. In fact, you can use two of them as an eye mask by just securing them under a sweatband across your eyes. As far as the amount of time it lasts, I'd say about as long as all the other gel masks and pads, around 10-15 minutes. I got two sets of these so I have 2 eye masks and 4 round pads. The zippered case is a really good addition, since it has mesh pockets and the pads will stay clean without having to deal with plastic bags in the fridge.

Very helpful to me following eyelid surgery. I switched between the mask and pads. I slipped the pads under an eye mask which worked well. Very good quality. I'm sure I will use them in the future to alleviate puffy eyes.

Doesn't stay cold long enough while using it (less than 20 minutes).

Great to use to ease dry eyes and allergies. Nice cooling effect. Very durable.

This product is excellent!! Very stylishly packaged with a hard shell zipper case lined with cooling material to keep cool. Couldn’t have bought a better gel mask!! Thank You! I absolutely love it!!

I love this mask. I'm wearing it now while I have my coffee. I keep it in the fridge and wear it almost every day for about 10-15 minutes. I think it removes the puffiness under my eyes and also helps with lymphatic drainage. Can't go wrong with the quality and price.

This is a stupid product! If you want to use it you must know 45 min to 1hr beforehand so you can put it in the freezer. So if you'd like to use it first thing in the morning for puffy eyes, you are out of luck! Unfortunately if you disobey these rules you will end up with a popped open eye mask and weird goo all over. Why this exists is beyond me. Find something else if you'd like a cold mask over your eyes, this ain't it.

Others may have better luck with it than I did but it didn't do anything for me. I'd recommend against freezing it before use - instead keep it in the fridge then throw it in the freezer for about 10 minutes before use. When wearing push the gel to where you need the cold on your face.
